Purchasing this charger is a decision that I've been extremely happy with ever since I made it! I have it clipped in one of my vents on the Driver's side of my car. Not only is it a Fast Magsafe Wireless Charger, but it allows my phone to act as a little Heads Up Display while I drive, showing me my GPS, music, notifications, incoming calls, text messages, and more! The magnets are super strong, and you do not have to worry about your phone falling off (without a case), and it charges your phone very quickly for it being a wireless charger, for real. I didn't expect it to charge my phone as fast as it does, but my drive is about 45 minutes to work, and if I forget to charge my phone overnight, this will charge my phone from 20% to above 90% in that 45 minutes (iPhone 14 Pro Max). My friend has a Galaxy phone (S24 Ultra, I think) with a Magsafe case on it so they can use Magsafe accessories, too, and this will hold their phone securely, as well. If I remember correctly, it charged their phone from less than 5% to a Full Charge within about an hour and twenty-five minutes while they drove my car on vacation. So, it is a solid accessory for any phone with the Magsafe capability. This charger is very durable, and the design is flawless in my opinion. It's small and compact, unlike some other devices that allow you to mount your phone to your vents or dash. It's a minimalistic mount that doubles as a Fast Wireless Charger for your phone. It's extremely convenient because you don't have to fumble with cords to get everything going. You just stick your phone in the orientation that you want, and you're off! Simple as can be, if you ask me. It even inspired me to get a bedside 3-in-1 Magsafe charger for my iPhone, Airpods, and Apple Watch, which I love so much! I have to start by commenting on the negative reviews. None where about the hold, the grip on.the vent. It always the charging. Ok. Look you are going to be very limited with car charging unless you install supplementary power and an inverter. If you need ultra fast charging that bad invest in a decent battery bank and move on, Geeze. Ok very happy. Mounted nicely to my vent. Magnet holds great even thru my case. Respectable charging. I don’t expect a full charge in a 30 minute drive while also using sometimes multiple apps such as maps and music. But the phone charges, doesn’t require a cord or clunky grip. The magnet holds well but also releases without a fight. Only minor gripe, aside from the people with unrealistic charging expectations is the fixed cable. The unit feels well built and it charges my iPhone quickly. BUT the design has NO way to control how loose or tight the mount is. The pivoting mechanism has no adjustment and the siliconized teeth that grip the vent grill has no adjustment. I'm sure it works on a perfectly smooth road but any bump starts the slow release and it will eventually fall to the floor with the phone still attached! Terrible bit of engineering. Many similar and cheaper units have hooks to grab the back of the plastic grill AND a way to adjust the pivot angle. Read more

I got this for my old Ranger. Jammed the mount into the vent after some careful angling and it worked great. Nice magnetic mount and charging. Whats not to like? Well, the mount. It jams way into the vent or it falls off. But way in the vent means I cant adjust the vent at all. Thats the dilemma. Maybe I just need a different mount, because the charger and magnet are great. After using this charger for a few months in both cooler and warmer weather, here's what I've found: On cooler days (around 40F outside, 70F in the car) or on warmer days with the AC on, the charger works as expected. As shown in the top photo, the charging speed is similar to that of a regular MagSafe charger, and it charges faster when the battery is low and slows down as the battery level increases. However, as the bottom photo shows, on warmer days (around 80F) from 3-4PM, the charger failed to charge the phone or even maintain the battery level, as many reviewers observed. With the AC on around 5-6PM, it did charge the phone but at a slower rate. When it's cooler, from 9-10PM at night, the charging speed is comparable to a regular MagSafe charger. In addition to temperature, app usage also affects the charging. The device is more likely to charge the phone when using Apple Maps for navigation than when using Google Maps or Waze, which drain the battery more quickly. This charger may be difficult to justify at a cost of $100, especially considering that it fails to charge in certain circumstances. However, as the only Apple-certified MagSafe car charger, it offers better temperature control and safety mechanisms, providing peace of mind for frequent travelers who rely on their devices while on the road. This is probably the strongest magsafe magnet available, I tried 5 other devices. Feels overall sturdy, magsafe feels secure yet easy enough to detach with some force (without pulling the charges off the vent). Charges well, better than my car's built-in wireless charger (a 2024 toyota!). Read more
