I gave these a try because an employee at the Meat counter at Whole Foods told me Bell and Evans was the brand he used with his own family...and he wasn't wrong about the quality of the chicken. These Bell and Evans gluten free chicken tenders did not disappoint! As mentioned in a couple other reviews, I did put in the air fryer for 2 minutes beyond the recommended times ans the pieces came out perfect! The pieces are tender chicken with a light GF coating - much more chicken than coating/breading as with so many other tenders these days...and with the air fryer the coating crisped up nicely. I absolutely love this brand! If you want a real piece of chicken with a crunchy crust this is it for the GF people! I found that they have a chicken patty as well! But use it to have nuggets even my kids who aren’t GF eat it the taste and texture is amazing and the quality of air chilled chicken is great! These Bell & Evans are without a doubt the best frozen breaded pre made tenders that I have ever had, they are tender and not stringy as with many other brands. My favorite is the coconut but they never seem to have that one or this one in stock lately. All I can say while it is expensive you do get a very high quality chicken meal with this. Just cook these up in a toaster oven and your good to go. I also found the amazon coconut peanut sauce goes great with these. Highly recommended, absolutely delicious and fresh, a must try.
