The media could not be loaded. We used this the first time to steam snow crab legs since it’s big enough without the middle steamer to hold them all. It worked perfectly! I just added some butter fat from the clarified butter than I made then a few tbsps of water and set it to steam for 5-7 minutes. It cooked 4 pounds perfectly! It was so much easier to clean up as well than a huge steamer pot and we also took the whole thing to the table to keep them warm, it was the best! Also, it’s really aesthetically pleasing to look at and matches my kitchen perfectly. I will be using it to make beef short ribs today. Read more

Love this cooking pot! It gives me the option to sear, sauté, steam or use as a slow cooker. I can easily cook a 5-pound chicken, ham, or roast in the pot along with any desired sides. The cooker is approximately 17 x 9 inches and provides an inside cooking area of 8 x 15. If desired, you can cook your meat in the bottom part of the pot and then place the steam / roasting rack above it and cook potatoes and vegetables. This gives you the option for a full meal being cooked in the same cooker. Just put your food in, set the timer using the easy-to-read digital information on the front, click start and come back to a finished meal. The other plus to this cooker is that the plug in part of the cooker and is stored on the backside of the cooker. This is a well-made, easy to use cooker that is easy to clean. The inside pan has a non-stick coating making it easy to clean and keep your food from sticking. All pieces, the inside pot, roasting/steamer rack and the lid are dishwasher safe. The outside pot can easily be wiped clean. You can easily use the cooker as a serving dish if desired. Definitely a good deal for the price. Read more

First of all, this is a very good-looking cooking pot—better than it appears in the pictures. It has a decent 6-quart capacity, which is sufficient for a typical family. The coating on the inner pot is smooth, and heating is very efficient. When I tried the steaming function, the water came to a boil very quickly. The stainless-steel steaming tray looks nice and feels sturdy, with good thickness. On the outside, the control buttons are conveniently placed and clearly labeled. After inspecting the pot, however, I did find a few things I wish were different: 1. The heating coil has no cover and is completely exposed when the inner pot is removed. While this may help with heat conduction and efficiency, in my opinion it would be safer and easier to clean if it were sealed. Beneath the heating coil, there are several holes leading into the bottom of the pot’s casing. I’m not sure what is inside. If a spill were to occur, it would be difficult to clean, and there could be a safety risk if liquid enters the interior of the unit. 2. I wish the inner pot were thicker, which would allow for more even heating and better stability when placed inside the unit. As it is now, the inner pot tends to wobble. 3. The screws on either side of the inner pot, where the plastic handles are attached, do not appear to be well sealed. 4. The inner pot does not have a flat bottom. Instead, it has raised ribs in the center and a relatively deep recessed groove around the perimeter. This design may be suitable for grilling, as it directs juices toward the outer groove. However, this is a matter of personal preference—I prefer a smooth flat bottom for slow cooking dishes such as spaghetti sauce, chili, and similar foods. By the way, the vertical space between the steamer tray and the glass lid is quite limited. In addition, the handles on both the pot and the lid feel somewhat harsh to the touch. I would have preferred the use of rubberized materials, which are softer and more comfortable to handle, as seen on many similar products on the market. Given the current retail price of around $100, I would have hoped not to see the issues mentioned above. Read more

I really like the design of the pan here but was not totally thrilled with the function at least on first try. The pan itself is a great size, absolutely non-stick and functions both as a heating pan or cooker and as a server as well. It is not exceptionally deep so serving out of it is a great option as opposed to slo-cookers and InstantPot that are too deep for serving. The insert or serving pot is exceptionally sturdy as it is quite solid and again shows zero signs that sticking will be a problem. The idea that you can sear and cook in the same pan should make this a very easy to use cooker. However, the touch controls, while they look great, are not simple to use. You can sear or steam and it seems the temperature is quite high (450 degrees) but when then trying the slow cooker there is no opinion to adjust heat or use a higher temp. I was hoping to let my chicken and peppers cook for a few hours after searing. But it took over 8 hours to finish cooking in part because the only option is low and slow. I’m adding some photos including as the chicken was being seared. I suspect in the future I’ll stick to pressure cooking the chicken but this does seem like it would be a great option for pork roasts or beef where searing is critical. Read more

I just want to start off with how easy this is to clean, the ceramic coating makes it a breeze and I haven’t had one thing stick to it, wiped right off every time. I’ve been cooking meals with this all week to try out recipes, i really wanted something to prep dinners with for my husband since we work opposite hours and of course something easy to work with. All the buttons are straight forward and easy to use, cook times have been in line with my old crockpot on low but now i can sear my meat in the same pot & save time. The 6 qt can make a nice sized meal & it’s cooked my food thoroughly each time. I’ve told so many people about this already because i love how simple and easy this has made cooking for me. The neural color looks good on my countertop, the back has a spot to tuck in the cord out of the way and it’s definitely not an eyesore. Read more
