Customers appreciate the can opener's retro design and find it easier to use than hand openers.
Tin cans no longer have the same type of lip. Items ranging from soups to tuna two cans vegetables have different thicknesses and depth and mini handheld openers. Do not work well. It has been a long time since we had tried electric can opener and this one had very good reviews. We have been extremely happy with it and it is a very good value. We highly recommend it John J. It works well - the can opening is very easy to use and I have arthritic hands. A couple of minor beefs: the little pads come off the feet fairly easily. I've had to reapply them a couple of times. Plus with a heavy tall can, it's prone to tip & needs to be held upright. But it's a good can opener for the cost, does open the cans very easily, and I liked that it was available in white. A bit disappointed in quality. Cheap plastic. Everything else I have purchased of this brand has been great quality and I have recommended to others. The knife sharpener, which is why I bought it, is totally manual. I will be careful when purchasing this brand in the future. It will open a can. Read more
