This is an absolutely stunning and well-made garment! Unfortunately, it was too large for me, especially throughout the bust and arm areas,… even with a knit garment underneath. Since I’m a bit long-waisted and “bustier”, and the waistline was adjustable, I thought I would try the Size Large, still available (Medium size was no longer available). Even a size Small (also unavailable) might have worked for me. I am 5’ 2”, approx. 135-137 lbs., pear shaped, and again, with a longer torso. Better for bustier person. I used the size chart and chose XXL based on chest measurement. It fit across the bust and I was able to button it (42" waist) but the armholes gaped and looked weird on my body type. Nice fabric and pattern. Sorry it didn't fit and returned. Read more

The Belle Poque Vintage Vest was very well made with good color but, the sizing was very small. I had to return . If the sizing was consistend with U. S. sizing I would have given it a higher rating and had not returned. Read more
