I love Ben Davis pants. (Read until the end) The only reason I don't give them a 5, is because they are usually extremely complicated to get and sizing is off. I wear them on the natural waist (just below my belly bottom), so I went under 1 inch of my natural waist and they fit perfectly. I initially bought 32-29, but they were too big on the waist. Went down to 31-30 and I believed they fit great. So I actually got em a size below my dickies size. If you wear them lower than your natural waist, then I would recommend a different size. Maybe a below-your-hip size. Also, even though they are marked as 30 inseams, they actually were a bit longer than 30. If you are below 5’8, you will need to have them tailored. I love the pockets, the quality, and the fit, everything is just great. I actually prefer them over dickies. Please make more!! I do say that sizing is not accurate. The pants will tend to break in and sizing will get bigger. I’m pretty sure the 31 now fit like a 32-33. Also, the inseam is all over the place. Unfortunately, they don’t offer 29 on several sizes. Great pants, but they are NOT true to size, as they seem to have vanity sizing (garment measurement is bigger than real sizing). Read more

These pants are just perfect. I hope they never change the recipe. I have several pair and they all fit very consistent. They're super stiff at first but after a few wash n' wears they soften right up and get very comfortable. The waist, inseam and leg width are cut just a wee bit generous. They have a spacious ballroom, if you know what I mean, yet don't look too skinny nor too relaxed. When climbing ladders or big steps, the pant legs don't ride up and get stuck on top of your work boots, something that drives me into a blind rage. The pockets lay completely flat like jeans and don't flare out all over the waist and crotch like grandpa's favorite slacks or that lesser brand that starts with a "D" and ends in "ickies." For a stocky person like me, Ben Davis pants fit absolutely perfect where the aforementioned lesser brand fits terrible in every way. Read more
