This my second one to try, the first one was a copy of a Chinese copy, poor quality, nothing like the photos on Amazon. It was just “sloppy” so to speak. The screws were not countersunk in the unit, the spring action is more stable, just more refined. The lower knobs have set screws, which holds them securely. On the first unit the o Obd spun on the shaft after a little pressure was applied. Looked like loctite or some other glue was used. Castings are different as well. Works great. Read more

This case opener is great. What more can I say? A little more I guess. I am a watch guy and I have a few different case openers. Never had a problem opening a watch case. That was until I bought a 1973 Rolex 6426. A 52 year old watch and it probably had not been opened in 35 years. It just would not open, not matter what I tried. I was going to take it to a dealer, but I'm sure they would have charged $80 bucks or something silly to open the case. So I decided to buy this one. It worked. It opened the case back with no problem. Plus, it includes all kinds of accessories. Plus, it's nice looking, like a little work of art. I ordered a clone of a Bergeon 5700. The item received is not the item pictured. This is a poor clone of a clone. This is not a Keys of Time opener. Keys of Time is not on the base. The adjusting knobs do not have set screws. The other screws are not flush with the sides to the tool. The adjusting mechanisms ore very hard to turn and adjust. The top black screwing handle is not the same as the picture. The twelve assorted black tips are not assorted well. Two pair of identical flat tips and four sets of the round tips of two sizes. This will be returned, unused and I will search for another vendor who actually has the Keys of Time opener. Good luck. Read more
