2018 UPDATE - My son had no complaints against this headset until December 2017. He came to me and told me that the braided sleeve, which looks very cool, was coming apart at the plug end of the cord. Aside from the sleeve it looked like there wasn’t much else protecting the wires. The headset continued to work without fail tho. After having this headset for six months and forgetting what the return policy was, I wasn’t sure the seller would do anything about this defect. I did, however, contact the seller and told them about the braided sleeve starting to come apart. They sincerely apologized, asked me to give the product a second chance, and asked me to verify my shipping address. They actually told me that they would send a brand new replacement free of charge. They did so with no questions asked. They didn’t even ask me to send back the defective headset. They offered a nice solution to a an undesirable dilemma. The headset is still a nice enuf product that was happy with taking a replacement. I will be buying another headset soon as my other son has a birthday coming up. I still recommend this headset if you are looking for an inexpensive alternative to an overpriced headset such as turtle beach. TB is what my other son is asking for. Not gonna do it but these I will purchase again. (7/28/17 - original purchase) My son love this gaming headset! They work great and sound good. There have been other reviews saying they work while you are playing online as far as hearing the people you are playing with and the sounds of the game. This has not been the case for my son. Both work at the same time and perfectly. Read more

This is specifically for the Bengoo/Kotion Each G9600 Camouflage Headset: The quality of this headset for the price is near unbeatable. Headset feels very durable/kid proof. It’s made of ABS plastic with metal inserts on the adjustable band. The ear cushions on these are breathable mesh pillow cushions and they are extremely comfortable. I have an absolutely huge head, and these fit just right. My ears fit entire into the cushions, so this is an “over ear” headset. As such, they do an alright job of cancelling ambient noise. Because the cushions are mesh and not pleather, you can hear a little more around you. I actually like that but some people may not. They do not leak a bunch of noise though. The integrated volume control and mute switch work very well. The cord is extra long (8ft) and it’s braided and color coordinated the entire way. The headset is very lightweight, which makes it great for long play sessions. Clamping pressure is just about right. Again my head is huge so the fact these are comfortable on my head is a good indicator of their comfort. They are adjustable and mine have to be all the way expanded. These also come with a braided and color coordinated PC splitter if you game on a desktop. The USB only powers the LED lights, and they are blue. Therefore, the USB does not have to be plugged in, but is a nice touch if you’re into that sort of thing. Microphone quality is very good and the noise canceling seems to work very well on it. Only time echo was noticed was when I had a fan pointed directly at me and volume was at 100%. I’ve been through numerous $70-$100 headsets in the past 4 weeks trying to find one for console gaming that didn’t have an awful microphone. This is the first pair I’ve found that doesn’t echo everything anyone says, and it’s the cheapest of all of them. It’s pathetic how garbage the mics are on Hyper X, Turtle Beach, and Nacon Rigs. Sound quality is great. They tend to be treble heavy and medium on the bass, but for games like Fortnite that’s exactly what you want. Overall, these sound pretty clear and for me, work good for both music listening and gaming. Not gonna lie, the sound quality is impressive for the price point. My one minor complaint is that on my first pair, the fabric on the cord started to fray with minimal use. It wasn’t frayed too bad however, and when I contacted the company (it was past return date) they promptly sent me a replacement for no cost at all. Their customer service was absolutely excellent. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy this brand again and in fact even ordered a second pair for a Christmas gift. Read more

it works great for its price and i love it. i would suggest this headset to any gamer if they are looking for an affordable flashy headset. it dose have a lot of cons but it is still a reliable headset and i will always use it for any game pros: looks nice, works well, comfortable, lights are not too bright, mic doesn't stick. cons: needs the included adaptor for laptop and pc, mic will not work at times and must be all the way down to work, cords are really stiff. Headphones are nice and comfortable, but not very loud. Maximum volume isn't all that loud. Also, you can't plug in the USB for headphone lights and the actual headset to use at the same time, you can only do one or the other, not practical. Why have features when you can't use them together at least you can't for a PS4. Noise cancellation is good. If you wont to use all features of headset, you might want to go with a different brand, paid $17 with discounts and as a sale item, thats about what it's worth.: UPDATE: Customer Service contacted me and offered a new headset or refund. Received new headset, customer service outstanding and helpful!! Read more

Sound quality ok. If using with a ps4 the headset will not light up unless you plug it in via usb. However you can't because you would have to play 4 " away from your ps4 so thats dumb. For chat it is also ok. Sometimes it doesnt sound clear. For the discounted price its ok but if its true that it usually sells for anything more than 20-25 (50-60 bucks) than its not worth it. If your looking just for a cheap headset while you save for a better one this is the way to go. Read more
