I got this suit jacket in burgundy for my husband to wear around Christmas. The color is perfect for the holidays, and the price for this jacket was great. The jacket is lined and actually looks more expensive than it is. The fit was good and about what you would expect for a jacket. The material is soft, but it does tend to grab lint and dog hair and hold onto it, which is probably the biggest downside. On the plus side, it is machine washable, which is a big benefit. The pattern is distinctive without being loud, and the cut flattering. The quality is pretty good, it doesn't look cheap but small things give away the corners cut in production. Like the inner pocket or more noticeably the floating liner which will pop out at the cuffs a bit when moving your arms about. Definitely not a dealbreaker though, this is a suit jacket that looks like it had some smoking jacket in it's ancestry and wears well, swinging at a classy look above it's pricing and managing to land it. Overall, i'm farily impressed witht his suit jacket that arrived exactly as imaged and described in the listing! For starters this item was true to size, color and style - these things were not exaggerated in the listing, which i am thankful for. While i absolutely love this jacket, it is definitely pulling some type 4 level uniqueness, and would not work for all circumstances, occasions or styles. That being said, the checkerboard pattern is soft - almost velvety - and bold enough to not be missed, but not so bold to be obscure. While some may see this as a drawback, I'm thankful that the material is not too thick. As someone who runs hot quite a bit, this suit jacket will not create nearly as many temperature issues that other jackets cause for me. Overall, if you're looking for a suit jacket that will cause you to stand out with a modern pattern while keeping a classical/traditional fit (and one button design), this is definitely the suit for you. Awesome suit coat! This fit great and I received soooo many compliments. True to size and seams seem nice and durable. Color looks great and coat looks just like the advertised photo. Material is very soft to the touch and multiple people people wanted to touch it lol. The jackets versatility allows it to work casually with a set of jeans or with a tie and dress pants for a more formal look. The only complaint I have is the sleeves are slightly longer than I like but overall, the price and value is phenomenal so I would highly recommend this jacket. Read more
Jacket arrived quickly. The size chart is accurate. It feels like a low pile, crushed velvet. It has a lightweight feel when worn. It even looks nice when worn. It appears to be very versatile when pairing different colors & styles. The negative I have with it is I can't comfortably raise my hands above waist level. I can get them almost to chest level, but the jacket gets very tight across the back & binds under the arms. A larger fit would be too big across my shoulders & too big at the waist. Read more
