The watch is a simple smartwatch, with a basic feature set that you would expect from a minimally priced watch. By using the app for the phone, works well with IOS and gives basic notifications for many different apps you may have on your phone. The health tracking will update the Health app in IOS keeping track of y our sleep, steps, body temperature, and exercise. The phone & App can be a bit clunky when pairing it to your phone the first time. In fact, I am not sure what I did to get it to pair correctly. The app would see the phone but wouldn't pair to it. Between power cycling the watch and the phone a few times it just paired. The experience left me not wanting to un-pair the phone to my watch again. Still, a small price to pay if you ar looking for a simple smartwatch to track steps, sleep, and exercise and it's price if that is the only reason for wanting the watch. Read more

The first fitness watch I every purchased was a gift for my elderly father who had recently been diagnosed with a heart issue. That was quite a few years ago and I spent around $200 for a device that had fewer options than this watch that is a quarter the price. We all know that technology tends to get cheaper as it becomes more demanded by buyers. Still, for the price I am satisfied with this smart watch. The biggest issue was trying to attach the watch band. It comes with two, neither of which is connected. OMG. My old lady eyes and fingers struggled to the point that I nearly just gave up. I find it to be comfortable, and I typically don't like the feel of any sort of jewelry or watches. I checked the heart rate value versus another fitness watch as well as a standard blood pressure monitor that also records heart rate. The values were equal or within a few points. I checked the blood O2 value against two other smart watches and they were all within a percentage point. I appreciate the real time display of heart rate, rather than the watch taking a few moments to get the reading and then reporting it. The watch face that launched at first had the time displayed in numbers too small for me to read. But, there are MANY watch faces available and I chose one with big numbers that are easy to read, and a pretty little image of a cat and a potted plant. I thought that was a unique option. I'm not sure about the temperature reading. My other smart watches have not offered a body temperature reading, but this one has two values - a top one that puts me in hypothermia or death, and a lower one that is more normal. I don't know what the point of the top number might be. It was very easy to set up and get running with the app on my phone. It claims to be waterproof (not just water resistant) and I've not dunked it completely into water to test it out, but I do the dishes in the kitchen sink and it frequently gets enough water that I wipe it dry. I've had no issues in that regard. All in all, it's a good deal for the money. If you need more sophistication, those devises are out there and probably available at a higher price point. Read more

I really struggled to get this watch to pair with my phone. I'm no tech dummy, but for whatever reason I could not get this system to easily set up. I have set up other watches and have not had any issues, but this one gave me problems. I like fitness watches and the information you can learn with them -- but I felt really inadequate for even getting this watch up and running with the app. In order to work well as a fitness watch it needs to communicate with the app. Read more

What a beautiful watch for a low price. Very simple to put up. Works nicely, and the battery life is enough. It also recharges rapidly. My only complaint is that I have a large wrist and the band was too small, and there were no extra large bands available. However, this has no detrimental impact on the watch itself. I would highly suggest. Read more

UPDATE: Dug up my old Fitbit. This watch has managed to erase everything at random parts of the day. How'd I only get 670 steps after walking for 5 hours? It erased the data. This has happened continuously. I don't trust any of the features. My original review is below. The Fitbit I’m replacing with this smart watch has become dimmer over the years and if I could read it clearly, I wouldn’t replace it. The first thing I found on this watch was the feature that allowed me to brighten the screen and it works great. The face is large enough that I can read it clearly, too. It switches to the different features easily. Everyone else in the family uses their phones to record steps and health conditions but I noticed at the beach that I was the only one who had over 10,000 steps because they all had to leave their smart phones under the tent. This is why I prefer to keep track of everything on my smart watch. This watch can handle water and while I didn’t swim, I also didn’t worry about any spray that got on it. This watch came with two straps—one in pink, the other in black. The app downloads easily and set up is basic. I found that I needed to charge it more frequently but that isn’t a problem for me because the set-up is by my computer and I can charge it while working. So far I haven’t had any problems with this watch and while it’s hard to part with my Fitbit, it had to be done. Rest in peace, old friend. Time to change the guard. Read more

I've tried several smart watches, This one is one of the better companies. It has a great app and an excellent battery life. The one I'm wearing now is 7 months old and still going well. I purchased this one for my wife. Read more
