Update (9/17/2022): these are still holding up pretty well 7 years later. My kids are now teenagers and feel food at lunch should be consisted of snacks and the like [insert eye roll]. However, I use these for my everyday use for lunch to work. They are sturdy and still holding up to all the washes in the dishwasher. Please be aware newer products may have changed since when I purchased so this updated review may be a moot point. I purchased this along with the classic. These have been holding up perfectly and I still continue to use these for my kids lunches. I love that it has it's separate compartment for their food and they only have to fuss with one container. I had my 6 year old test it out on opening it and closing as typical Tupperware style containers are hard for little hands to open and close. I've had these for about 5 months not and can say they have been holding up great. I did have one lid chip at the tap part, but other than that, they are still good. The plastic is a lot more durable than those you would purchase in store from a certain brand. I did however, go on a wild chase as to find lunch boxes that would accommodate these beauties and found stand up bags from Target at a reasonable price. I wasn't too keen on the Easy Lunch boxes, and wanted something a little bit more stylish. The ones I purchased at Target (online, since we do not have one close by) were not only stylish, but a lot cheaper than that recommended for these containers. My kids don't have to worry about their lunch all flipped flopped. We have tried to put some sort of liquidy type in these containers and they do not do very well with containing it to what section you add it to. The second biggest compartment fits an applesauce container great. So when I add this, I usually open it up for my 6 year old, just so that teacher has one less child to worry about helping to open stuff. My little one informed me that the teacher would like me to keep it closed due to the fact that it does leak, and that's still with leaving the foil cover on it. I probably have one that is a little bit stained, but that may be due to the fact that my husband started bringing a lunch and may have microwaved this. I highly recommend these containers. Read more

These have been the best bento boxes I have found, and I have tried many. The individual compartments are fairly sealed from each other. Enough so that damp fruit will not make bread or crackers soggy. They cannot be filled with liquid, but I feel like that’s just common sense. They are very easy to wash in the dishwasher as well. The lids are very tight when you first get them, and are very difficult for little kids to completely close. You have to push on all four corners very hard until they click. That was the only issue we had at first, however, as we have used them and washed them more, They have gotten easier to close so that my kindergarten can now close them tightly on his own. The portion size of each compartment is also perfect for any age child. It holds enough food for my older kiddo, and I can use silicone cupcake molds to divide up smaller things for my younger kiddo. They also sell a smaller size container with four compartments. That’s great as well. We use them both frequently depending on what is packed for lunch that day. My children have severe food allergies, and these containers have helped us so much to fill their lunches with healthy foods that they can get excited about, and not feel like they’re being left out because of the foods they cannot have. It’s also been really nice to not be using and throwing away 8 to 10 Ziploc bags per day. Read more

After looking all over for a nice bento-style lunchbox option, I finally got the Easy Lunchboxes and I'm so glad I did! What I love: - Unlike some compartmentalized lunch containers with lots of separate pieces to wash, this has one sturdy base and one lid, so there is less I have to keep track of and less to wash (they are dishwasher safe!) - They come in 4 colors so I can color-code my 3 boys' lunches. I've put full lunches together and stacked them in the fridge at night and in the morning I can just grab the right color for each kid, knowing he's getting the right lunch. - They can be refrigerated and frozen. I've mixed up jello in the evening, poured it into the smallest compartment in each of my kids' Easy Lunchboxes, then set them in the fridge at night, and by breakfast their jello was set and their lunches all ready to go - They are sturdier than they look. At first I hesitated b/c I thought these were like the Ziplock disposable containers I already own, but I was pleasantly surprised when I saw how thick the plastic is. They seem to be good quality. I've run them through the dishwasher a few times and they're still like new. - They fit in a standard lunch bag. I lay a slim ice block underneath and I can even set a Capri Sun drink pouch and a GoGurt on top and still zip up the bag with ease. - They're affordable! Other options would have cost me close to $100 for all 3 of my boys, but now (for much, much less) I even have one for my husband Read more

Quality is decent. The boxes and lids are stiff and seal well. Great for meal prepping. Top rack safe in my dishwasher. Read more
