Please excuse the streaky mirror. This is a great dress! I bought it in the sage green, XL and I’m so happy I may get in another color as well. It’ll be perfect for a holiday party later this year. I’m 5’9, 210 lbs and 40C and the XL is perfect. I’ll probably wear shape wear just to smooth things out a bit but that’s just a preference- the photos here are without. The dress is very comfortable and a good length. There is no major pulling at the top where the snap is but I may add a garment tape strip just to keep the fabric laying flat. I tried the sleeves a couple different ways but I think I prefer them all the way down. It’s cute either way though! All in all, a very cute comfortable classy dress for a work event or holiday party! Read more
The "sage" color is a lovely teal. Dress is comfy and stretchy, but a little short (and I am extremely short). It's fine when standing up but as soon as you sit down you might show all the goodies, so be careful! I removed the chest snap closure and added a stitch to keep it shut at a more flattering position. I also removed the tie belt as I thought it made the dress look like a robe, and added a silver belt to match my shoes. Much cuter and more formal. Wore it to a wedding and there was another guest with the same dress in a different color haha. I removed a star as the dress is EXTREMELY OVERPRICED! Should be $29 at most. Read more
This dress is proportioned so well through the shoulders to waist AND the tulip cut brings up the length to just above the knee! I’m 5’2, 130-135lbs, 36C, 40” hips with a short waist wearing a medium. It drapes nicely without pulling weird. At first I thought I might want to size down to a small, but the longer I’ve worn it I really like the way the slightly more relaxed medium falls. The burnt orange has a really nice copper tone. I was worried the velvet would appear so heavy that it overpowered my petite frame, but the ribbed pattern really breaks it up nicely so light reflects off it in such a way that it actually softens the weight. I ordered this dress for a Christmas party I was attending. I am 5;9" 130 lb and ordered a small. It fit well and was comfortable, but I ultimately returned because the neckline was not flattering at all. It included a snap closure halfway up which when snapped gave a weird look to the overall dress. If left unsnapped I liked it better, but then you could see the snap on the edge of the dress. Very cute and comfortable dress. Soft stretchy fabric seems decent quality. I did, unfortunately have to return it because it just wasn't right for my 'rectangle' body type. It seemed to accentuate my slim hips, no waist and thick upper body. It would be gorgeous on if I had some nice hips to fill it out LOL Read more
