I purchased this as a second attempt to solve my shower caddy issues. I recently moved and the shower head bar/neck is slightly smaller than the metal shower caddy which causes it to frequently crash down on me with all of the various bottles. I previously purchased suction cups thinking that would fix it, but it continued to happen. This kit is the perfect solution! It comes with two suction cups and one C-shape connector. The suction cups aren't large (imo) but they do have a neck/knob with a longer depth (~0.5") than my prior ones, which prevents the shower caddy metal from popping out at random. The C-shape connector is what really solved my issue. The material is hard and inflexible. It snaps on the shower head bar perfectly. It does have a groove on the top that is likely meant for the shower caddy metal to sit in, but it did not fit my caddy. Instead, I just used the connector to keep the caddy in place and flush with the wall mount. My only wish is that I had purchased this sooner. Read more
This kit works! When my shower caddy started hurling shampoo and body wash at me, I went on the hunt for the fix. There were several (barely) different styles, visually, at least. This one had the best reviews, and I must agree. My huge, heavy shower caddy hasn't budged since install. The suction cups have stayed secure for months now. I fitted the horseshoe-shaped loop over the shower neck onto the pipe, then sat the caddy's wire on top, where it snuggled right into a groove cut in the silicone. #ProblemSolved Read more
My shower caddy arrived with nothing to hold it in place and plopped around when I tried to store something on one of the shelves. The other problem is that the part of the caddy that slides over the water pipe was too loose to keep the caddy in place and not slide off the pipe. When I received this Shower Caddy Connectors kit it had a part that was claimed to be made of rubber but it actually felt like plastic. No matter because I was able to slide it over the water pipe in front of the caddy part that failed to do its job. Regardless of its make it fit very snugly onto the water pipe and is doing a fine job of keeping the caddy from sliding off the pipe. The suction cups are made of soft rubber and snap on to the caddy to keep it in place. My shower walls are tile and I thoroughly cleaned the two tiles to be used by the suction cups with rubbing alcohol. The suction cups keep the caddy from swing like a pendulum and allow me to store my shampoo and other items. This is a good kit and the price is right. Read more
This actually isn’t my first time ordering this and it most likely won’t be my last for as long as I use hanging shower caddies. I only got this for the nonslip clip it comes with; I don’t use suction cups as they’re a useless nuisance. The clip has been a life-savor for us when it comes to preventing our shower caddies from slipping down the shower-head pipe. Like before the clip provided in this fit our pipe and so far is keeping our caddy from slipping; hopefully it lasts as long as the previous one we got before moving homes. It’s ridiculous how difficult this particular item is to find. Most are the type you fit over the hook of your caddy but I hate those. I definitely recommend this product for the incredibly convenient nonslip clip, but I wouldn’t pay more than 5 dollars for it. I’m only rating it a star less because the price fluctuates abruptly from reasonable to overpriced too much and not only do I hate that but it created an inconvenient hassle for me too. Read more
This item was exactly what I needed! I recently moved and went to hang my shower caddy only to find it would consistently slip down even when empty. I even went as far as buying a new one only to discover that it too slipped down. The new one even had 2 suction cups to keep it in place that did not help. The new caddy did not fit my shampoo bottles as it was too short a shelf. I’m glad I kept the old one that fits everything I need in the shower. It was super easy to install. I actually placed the caddy flush against the metal ring against the wall and then placed the plastic ring to secure it in place. 4 months later and I’ve yet to have any issues with it slipping and sliding even when everything is in the caddy. I love that it’s clear in color so it’s not noticeable. So far the quality appears great in that it’s doing what it was designed to do. It was worth the money for me. These suction cups fit great, but don’t hold anything! I had them up in the shower with two bottles of shampoo, and the whole rack fell…I’m not sure of what it’s supposed to hold, but it’s not bottles of shower things. Read more
I bought a nice large caddy and initially thought it wouldn't work out because it would slowly slide down the shower head arm. Also, included suction cups were too big and didn't align with any fully flat sections of tile without grout. With this kit, the included clip stays put and hasn't budged at all after a few days. The smaller suction cups are perfect and stick well to my small tiles! I have no worries about this falling off and it feels super stuck in place now. Read more
