The lemon mint scent is fresh without being overpowering, and it actually makes washing dishes a little more pleasant. What really sold me, though, is how gentle it is on my skin. I have sensitive hands that usually get dry or irritated with most soaps, but with this one, I don’t even need to wear gloves. It cuts through grease surprisingly well for a more natural formula, and a little goes a long way. Plus, knowing it's made with safer ingredients and free from harsh chemicals gives me peace of mind — especially in a house with kids and pets. Highly recommend if you want a non-toxic, effective dish soap that smells great and won’t wreck your hands. Read more

I have significant chemical sensitivities. Most dish soaps cause my hands to turn red, dry, and flaky after a single exposure. There are some preservatives in this soap, but they must be at a low enough level it isn't provoking chem sensitivity for me. It's SO hard to find a dish soap that both gets the dishes clean AND doesn't harm my hands. This one fits the bill. Thanks for a great product! Read more

The media could not be loaded. We love this unscented soap! It’s helpful to wash our dishes and our baby’s dishes. Safe for both! The only thing is I wish it came in bigger sizes! Read more

I’ve been on the lookout for a dish soap that is both effective and gentle on the skin, and Better Life’s Lemon Mint dish soap fits the bill perfectly. It tackles greasy dishes with ease, cutting through grime without the need for harsh chemicals. The refreshing lemon mint scent is subtle and pleasant, not overpowering like some other brands. I also appreciate that it’s free from sulfates and parabens, making it a safer choice for my family and the environment. Plus, it doesn’t dry out my hands, even with frequent use. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a natural and efficient dishwashing solution. Read more

We love this dish soap. It suds up enough without the SLS. The price is the only thing I don't like, but it is worth the peace of mind. Read more

This is great soap. It really is! When you first open it and use it it's thick, cuts grease, and you know everything is clean. You are able to get one drop at a time which helps if you're washing one item at a time. Then after you've used 1/4 to 1/3 of the bottle, it's like a sleeper agent awakens and the whole rest of the bottle turns like water. So suddenly, while you're getting the same great clean, you're pouring out half of the bottle on one dish, instead of a drop at a time. So much so that both my husband and I asked each other if we added water to the soap. But without fail, this happens EVERY TIME with EVERY BOTTLE. So it doesn't last long after that initial 1/3. I have pretty nasty smell sensitivity -- things that other people can't even tell have a scent, I smell strongly and get headaches from. This soap has no scent that I can tell, and it cleans the dishes fine. Well done. Read more

I decided to switch to a more natural dish soap with aloe for my hands. I went with this one because it's one of the few with lemon scent which is what I like. Though, after smelling it, it's mostly mint and hardly any lemon so that was the first drawback for me. Straight out of the jug it seemed like a fairly good soap. It was thick and concentrated and lathered up good with one or 2 pumps of our glass dispenser by the sink. I thought I found a winner. But after a few days to a week, I pumped the dispenser and instead of thick soap I got watery thin soap which had lost its concentration. I picked up the dispenser and shook it and it was like water inside. At first I thought maybe somebody put water in it as a joke or for some other reason so I kind of dismissed it. After all, soap can't create it's own water right? So I put up with having to pump about 8 times just to wash my hands or anything else since it was so thin with hardly any suds. Once it was almost empty I decided to empty out and clean my dispenser thinking maybe the soap had reacted with the tiny bit of Dawn that was left when I poured it in. I cleaned and rinsed everything, checked that the soap was still nice and thick in its original jug, which it was. Then I refilled the dispenser. It was great. Nice and thick again and washed good just like other brands of dish soap.......for a couple days. After about two days it slowly started thinning again. Now it's like water again. But yet it's still thick in its plastic jug. I can't explain it. But that's what's happening. I wanted to like this soap but I'll have to try a different natural brand when this is gone. Which won't be long having to use 10 pumps at a time. Read more
