These tights are very soft and look so good on my body. But, they just don't hold up. If I'm paying $100 for tights, I better be able to wear them for a couple of years. These start to wear out after about 6 months of regular use. I'm 5'9" with pretty thick legs and wide hips, and I felt the large was a good fit, if a little big at the waist (mine is narrow).
