For Father's Day, every year, I try to get something new, interesting, and useful for my dad. This year, I found this. Useful? One can obviously live without it, but it does look nice and fits with the common decor of our home. New? Of course it is. Interesting? Perhaps not to most. But I loved it so much I had to get another for myself! Put any box of tissue in it and the tissue comes out the hole on the side. The shelf on the top can be used to hold a remote, your watch, wallet, pen, house or car keys...whatever is small that you don't want to lose. I love this idea for the tissue box. I love the storage area. I don’t usually cover my tissue boxes, but the Kleenex ones are so ugly lately that I can’t stand looking at them. The only problem is there’s kind of a dent on the top side edge. It wasn’t packed well it was just in a bag and thrown into a box so that’s probably why. I don’t know if I wanna go to the trouble of returning it. The wood is very pretty and the edges are smooth. Otherwise I think it would be a good gift even for a man’s office or something. It is well-made and I’d say the wood is medium, colored with beautiful graining in it. Read more
