I came across these after scorching fingers trying to light candles and searching for some kind of wand lighter. I only gave these 4 stars for ease of use, because they can be difficult to light for someone who has had surgery on both hands and has weaker than normal thumbs (e.g., me). When I couldn't get one lit, I actually Googled how to light them, thinking there was some trick, and found a Youtube video about the lighters in which one of the comments mentioned having to use both thumbs to light it. Very disappointed with this purchase! Out of the 3 pack, only 1 of them actually worked! Right out of the packaging, the first lighter I used didn’t light at all, the second one only lasted for a few days (hardly ever used it to be done so soon) & the third worked as it is supposed to. Just so you’re aware, I previously purchased these lighters from Amazon a while back & they worked precisely as they were supposed to.
