i have been looking for an alternative for one of the more popular and expensive brands of razor so i thought i would give this a try. i saw a review of razors and this was one of the less expensive but recommended razor. the bottom line is i am not going back to my my prior choice of razor as this one provides a so much more comfortable shave. even with a couple of days of heavy duty growth this razor cuts through with minimal drag or pulling. i am actually surprised how much better a job this does than another brand which costs significantly more. i was a little concerned about the bland/hing being a little flimsy but i have encountered no problems in its use and since the package is so inexpensive i will end up with multiple handles if needed. This is an amazing razor. It gives me the smoothest and closest shave ever, based on years of using various razors. The blade is larger and better than Gillette 5 I used to use. Excellent quality and great results, at a fraction of the price of other comparable products I used to use for many years. Read more

I wasn't overly thrilled with previous Gillette or Schick multi blade products so wanted to try something different. The previous ones did the job but I expected more comfort given they were name brand. The Bic certainly is very smooth and comfortable. I actually purchased this because it had a very high rating and for the price I thought I'd give them a shot. I can't comment on the Longevity since I've only been using it for a few weeks. For 5 decades I've been trying different razors. I've tried most brands bought in stores or from online clubs and both cheap and expensive. This one not only provides probably the closest shave, it continues to shave close shave after shave. I have found my razor. Read more
