I tend to be a fan of BIC's disposable razors and I'm not hesitant to explore those designed for both men and women. I have sensitive skin and I'll usually gravitate toward those razors most appropriate to ensuring my skin doesn't rash, breakout or get easily nicked. I was anxious to try these disposable razors, though they are advertised as designed for women. I've used the BIC Soleil line before and these sounded like they'd be right up my alley. The package arrived with with the expected products - 12 disposable razors with six being lavender scented and six being eucalyptus scented. The two scents were individually packaged and easily identifiable. They also arrive with green handles for the eucalyptus and a light purple for the lavender. Each razor has a triple blade. In addition to being scented, the handles are thicker than your usual razor for men and they have an ergonomic feature that works really well with my slightly spastic hands. As a paraplegic, I've cut myself many times simply because my hands shake at the wrong time. These razors are noted as being appropriate for sensitive skin. The razor blades have an almond oil infused moisture strip that makes for a smoother shaving experience. These razors offer a smooth shave with an easy to manage handle. I'll admit I find the idea of scented handles a little weird, though the scent is fairly modest and it does add something to the experience of shaving. The scent doesn't really linger on the skin itself but there's something about it that triggers the senses in the same way that an aroma diffuser might. The blades here are smooth, though a little less precise than I had hoped. There were a couple spots I had to go over more than once because the blade just didn't quite get everything. This might be the difference between a blade for women and a blade for men, though typically I do just fine with blades for women - especially with BIC. On the plus side, these blades can be used more than once though they are considered disposable. While the price point on these razors are a touch higher than the usual BIC disposable, I find the extra usage helps justify the price and this is made even better by the improved handle. Overall, I really like these razors. The light scent is pleasant, the blades are smooth and effective, and the handles allow me to easily grasp and control the razor to reduce unwanted nicks and cuts. While I'm not sure they'll permanently replace my regular disposables, they're a nice option that I would easily purchase and use again during those times when my usual option (also BIC) isn't available and when my hands are more spastic as usual. I'm not quite ready to go 5-stars on these razors, however, this is easily a 4-star option for me and another quality disposable razor from BIC. Read more

these smell so good!!! but what's wild is that it is just actually the razor that smells great - meaning it keeps the scent close to it. it's not a situation where if you were to open the whole thing up when you walk in the room it's all you smell. it's not until you pick it up and sniff it that you actually smell it. i don't know why a razon needs to smell great but now that i know it can be a thing, i want all my razors to smell so good. the scent is just super light and fresh and i honestly wouldnt mild a body spray or sheets spray in the same in the smell. otherwise - the razors themselves are pretty basic, less basic than a cheapie/freebie as there are 3 blades - but a little more basic than the ones these days with like 5 or more blades. i understand the concept and reasoning behind so many - but really i think 3 is plenty, so i find these to do the job as needed. they have an easy to hold / comfortable handle, and there's a moisture strip to help soothe post-shave. overall i am pleased with these razors. and this is a nice large pack of them for sure! i can absolutely dig buying a dozen at a time! These razors work well. They just glide across my skin, and do well at my curves like around the knees. I didn't have any red irritated bumps like I do with cheaper razors. The moisture strip seems to work too, as my skin wasn't dry and flaky. The handle is curved in multiple spots, and has white silicone grips on both the front and back. This is comfortable to hold, and doesn't slip in the shower. These are supposed to be lavender & eucalyptus scented, but I could only detect a faint eucalyptus-like scent. The razor cover slides off the short side, which seems to prevent accidentally cutting my finger better. I can put my finger on the entire outside of the cover, without risking touching the blade.
