I needed a chair that was comfortable, breathable, affordable, and would bear my weight. I've purchased several over the years and recently the seats haven't been deep enough so comfort was an issue. I've returned the last three and gave one away that was meant for children, so believe me when I say: THIS is the chair to buy! The seat is large and the material doesn't leave me sweating at the end of the day. It supports up to 400 pounds, which is easy to see when assembled: the base is five, heavy duty, separate arms that insert into a heavy metal center. The back and arms are attached by heavy metal pieces - not plastic or vinyl like a gaming chair. I expect the cylinder to be the first thing to go (eventually) but for the price this chair is an amazing value! No reclining or footrest, but I never used them on the last chair, and this is easy to assemble. Sturdiest chair I've encountered in a long time. P.S. No one paid me to write this review. Read more

If you are on the fence about this chair, just buy it. Extremely comfortable, and a lot wider than I anticipated. If you have trouble finding a chair where the arm rests don't dig into your sides, this chair is for you. I'm 5'10" and the chair is tall enough on the lowest level. Very easy to assemble, had it together in under 30 minutes, and that was with pushing away the cats that wanted to sniff every inch of it. Speaking of cats, this chair will be covered in fur before you even have it all together. It's just that kind of material. The only other concern is that the casters are plastic. It's a chair for fat people, plastic wheels are not always the best call. Still, it seems very sturdy. Well worth the price. Read more

I am 420 pounds and I spend all day sitting in front of my computer in my office. I have had other fat person chairs before and I do enjoy not prying my thighs from a chair when I stand up. This chair has the room and the support I need. I am not sure about the wheels as they are of the solid type with rubber around it. I have replaced wheels before so not the worst thing to go bad. Pump seems sturdy and doesn't sink under my girth. Mine came with a usb vibrator attached to the back, which I have never used. It gets 4 stars because its comfy enough for me to sit in all day, rolls easy, and is not a bulky mass like other fat chairs I have had. Read more

I weigh 270 and bought a chair at the beginning of quarantine that I believed to be the best for the money. It was cheaper than this one and had a headrest. Was much less sturdy, the arms fell apart, and it got a noticeable lean to one side after a few months. Last week I spent literally HOURS on Saturday researching chairs, determined not to get burnt again. I wanted something with adjustable arms, strong lumbar support, a weight capacity of much more than 270, and a high back with a headrest. The more I researched the more I realized I couldn't find something of quality and all of that for anything less than $400. Then I did some research and read that a headrest wasn't required for the most ergonomic posture, so I abandoned that. Finally, finally, I settled on this one and paid a lot less than I was willing to for a chair that I believed to be the superior one in the lower end of my budget (<$300). My back has been absolutely killing me so setting this up was agony even though it only took 20 mins. Sitting down in it was instant gratification. It also has a vibrating back which I guess I did not realize, and even that is nice. I set the arm rests as wide as possible at first but will probably make them a bit more narrow. The lumbar support is adjustable but unfortunately doesn't go quite low enough for me (I'm 5' 5") so I will probably use a seat cushion. The chair seat is firm but very comfortable and not at all like the piece of basically cloth covered plastic I was sitting on before. My life is changed. Just buy the chair. Read more

If you are plus-sized and short (5'1"), take your money elsewhere! I bought this chair on February 25th, 2021 and right away had numerous issues. First and foremost, it took my spouse 3 hours to assemble due to the holes not lining up and the pieces coming damaged. Upon sitting in it the first time, I was immediately disappointed because it was horribly uncomfortable and I was only 298 lbs at the time which is over 100 lbs below the weight rating. The seat was very rough on my legs even when wearing full pants and felt like I was sitting on a board rather than a cushion. I managed to make it work for just over six months in agony working from home for 12-hour shifts as a customer service agent. Within 30 days, the chair began to lean to the right side, prompting me to sit more to the left side in the seat. After about 2 and a half months, the armrests had come apart. Then on September 8th, 2021, I went to sit down at the beginning of my shift and the chair violently lurched to the right and threw me backwards. The metal base snapped clean in two where it connected to the cylinder. I have been using a $65 Walmart desk chair since then with a weight rating of only 130 lbs and it has held up the entire time. While the seat has lost much of its comfort, it is still more comfortable than the seat on this chair was right out of the box. While going through my orders to make sure I don't accidentally purchase another chair from this company, I realized I never left my review on the product. Read more

So far, the chair has been pretty good. For furniture like this, I like to wait a bit before posting a review to see if it has any faults. I am quite a heavy woman, so some of the seat padding has gone down and I can feel the plastic underneath. The fabric is a little difficult to clean. However, it has not lost any gas pressure in the cylinder. This has been an issue with most other office chairs I've purchased over the last 20+ years. I really appreciate the wide seat so I can sit with my leg up. I hope this chair stays available because I would definitely buy it again. Read more
