Two types of people buy Bigfoot costumes. The first is the guy or gal that wants something humorous to wear for Halloween or a costume party. If you wanna take the price tag for a night or three of fun, by all means do. But a costume like this is a commitment. The second type of person buying these is ready for that commitment. And you are the people this review is really for. I know what you're thinking. "Those people in Wal-Mart need a genuine Bigfoot sighting." Or, "What could possibly cheer up people stick in gridlock traffic more than Bigfoot gyrating on nearby telephone pole." This suit is pretty much perfect for that. Those big furry feet you see. Yeah, those aren't just shoe covers. Those babies have a mild tread on the bottom. I recommend squeezing a pair of shoes or slippers inside them so you can walk around easier. The hands give your fingers a fairly good range of motion. Even Bigfoot's sneer assures your onlookers that, yes, the person in this suit may need minor counseling in the future. I have but one qualm with this suit, and that's why I gave it 4/5 instead of 5/5. It has an open back. A pair of strings tie together at the base of the neck. So anyone behind you will see what you're wearing underneath. Some of you know that can kill the immersion. We found two solutions to that problem. The simplest? Wear a coat or something. Who can't picture Bigfoot wearing a flannel shirt anyway? The other route we took required a little more effort but paid off in full. Sew velcro strips to the suit so you can close the back up seamlessly. You could probably manage a zipper, too, but we felt that'd be more visible that the overlapping velcro. Surprised by the quality of the costume and with only a few modifications made this the best costume I have ever owned. I recommend stuffing the feet with paper or plastic bags to give the feet a full appearance. It did get warm at times. Everyone loves a sasquatch. Read more

The costume is a little lighter in color that what the picture shows. I'm 6'6" tall and I debated over a month or so whether or not to get this as previous reviews said not to get it if you're taller than 6'2". I went ahead and got it anyway and it actually fits me fine. The leg inseam is about a 32", which is what my inseam is normally. There is plenty of room in the torso of the costume to accommodate my long torso. One downside to the costume is that the only way to close the back is to tie some strings together, leaving a foot and a half hole of exposed shirt (or bare back). My fix was to hot glue a long strip of hook and loop (velcro) to the opening. And just like that, it's all good. This costume sheds like a Husky in the summer and leaves brown fur everywhere you walk. The mask is pretty scary, but hard to breathe in, let along drink from. I'm not sure whether I'm suppose to wear shoes inside the feet or not, but there's not a big hole to get shoes inside them. It'd feel weird with bare feet, but we'll see. All in all, if you're tall and want to scare the piss out of kids in the corn maze, get this costume. Reports of Big Foot & Sasquatch always describe it being between 7' and 10' tall, so go have fun on Halloween...maybe find some motion sensor cameras to run past at night. Read more

I only gave it three stars due to the fact that the legs of the outfit are too short and the legs are a little too small in diameter. There is no way this outfir would fit a person who is six feet tall. I am 5'10" tall and the legs just barely covered my ankles. The problem was compunded by the fact the the leg diameter is too small and hugs your legs a little bit. If you bend over, even slightly, the legs ride up on you and are almost impossible to get back down without a second person. I evenwore it without pants kn, but the problem still occurred. The other drawback is the fact that each time you wear this, you end up having that fur stuck all over you face and body. The back would be much better if they used velcro or a zipper. Overall it is a good costume for the money, but this was my experience with it. Read more
