ORIGINAL 10/28: I really like this purse, mostly for the slightly witchy look to the zipper pulls (to me they're reminiscent of crescent moons and stars). It has a ton of pockets inside and out, and there is a lot of room inside. Those were all major factors in my ordering it, which is replacing an older one at about the same size. I also really enjoy a classic black purse, so this one seemed to check all the boxes. While I do wish there were pockets on the sides (I love a good side pocket for my phone), there really aren't any major problems with this purse except one: The inner lining. Despite having removed all of the inner the paper stuffing when I received it, when I was exploring the pockets I thought I might have left some in as there was a LOT of noise while I was rustling around inside the purse. Nope. Turns out the inner lining is made of an incredibly cheap material, and it's the movement of the material causing all the noise. It also feels incredibly cheap, like some kind of paper-plastic hybrid. The listing says it's made of polyester, but I sincerely doubt it. This is really honestly terrible. I wouldn't dare take this purse to the movies, a library, or anywhere else quiet is needed. It's really unfortunate, because with all of the pockets, it could actually be really good. Now if I want to keep it (and I do), I have to invest money to have it re-lined, which I'm honestly not sure would even be worth the expense. UPDATE 11/14: After using it more consistently over the last several weeks, I can say I like this more than I thought. The lining noise is nowhere near as bothersome as I thought it would be (though it doesn't really soften with wear), though I do still wish it was a different material. I'm really loving the number of pockets and compartments - I'm still deciding where things should go and changing my mind constantly. I've decided not to have it re-lined, and it's now my everyday go-to purse unless I need something larger or much smaller. Read more
