I bought Billie Floof powder dry shampoo because I have fully accepted that washing my hair more than three times a week is unrealistic and unnecessary. This stuff is my backup plan, my safety net, and my secret weapon. One sprinkle and my hair goes from “questionable life choices” to “put-together adult.” Oil disappears, volume appears, and no one suspects I skipped wash day. It’s a powder (very old-timey, very effective) and doesn’t create a chemical fog or gas out my bathroom. Hands down THE BEST dry shampoo out there. I am not one to cheap out on beauty products because I believe you get what you pay for MOST of the time. But not only is this dry shampoo inexpensive, but a little goes a long way and it actually lasts. I have fine, thin hair that looks flat less than 24 hours after I wash it, so I often just apply a little of this at the roots right after styling it and it makes my hair look good for several days. It also has ingredients that are nice to my hair and scalp plus it's fragrance free. I hate strong perfumes and I especially hate layering on fragrances. I usually apply my usual serum to my ends (that matches the scent of my other hair care products) after I apply this to my roots so I get to keep my hair smelling AND looking like it does when it's clean. A little goes a long way with this stuff and I have found brushing my hair revitalizes it. Only thing that kinda sucks is the bottle; it's hard to get product out when it's almost empty but honestly even that is a minor issue. This is a very good product that is worthy of 5 stars, however I rate it 4 only because the dispensing and distribution of product is a bit of an arm workout. I love this because: 1) My hair feels clean and the shafts feel light with less weight after each use. 2) Adds volume to hair without over filling strands leaving behind heavy residue. 3) It has no strong smell, texture, or residue. A very fine powder that you don’t notice, smell, or see when you are done applying. 4) No aerosol, or mess (unless you shake it like absolutely crazy). How I use this: • Immediately following styling after a fresh wash. Adds volume and my hair feels just as clean in the morning (I usually style in the evenings or do overnight styling). • Each evening before bed and overnight styling. • Touch ups when needed. What products I pair this with: • L’Oréal Mythic Oil, or the L’Oréal Elvive - Whenever I use this, I always oil my ends. Whether you oil before or after is your preference to your hair type. I chose a light oil like L’Oréal Mythic Oil, or the L’Oréal Elvive. I use the Garnier oil (orange bottle) for something heavier as I approach wash day and my ends need more moisture. • Satin/Silk bonnet and blowout rods -I swear when I use my bonnet my hair and pillow stay cleaner and my hair stays silky. The blowout rods also conserve moisture and keep my style, I like to heat style and use the rods as preservation. Works best for me. Silky, styled, and clean hair in the morning. How long does the clean last vs no dry shampoo: • I can make it 4-5 days with the dry shampoo. The last two days I put my hair up. I usually don’t push it past 4, it’s not great to push it that long for your scalp or ends. * I make it 3 max without it and I’m greasy and hate my life the whole time without it 😅 2 is more realistic. Three stars because it dose its job the product itself works fine and I like that it doesn’t leave a white cast on my hair but the application is tedious. If you just shake straight from the bottle there is a high chance of it getting all over your clothes, counters, floors and so on. Also using a fluffy makeup brush works too it just takes time and for me I like to use dry shampoo as a quick refresh being a toddler mom. I love this dry shampoo. No smell and works great on my light brown, fine hair. You shake it on so I do get a little on my clothes which wipes off like a powder would but it’s a minor inconvenience for how much I like the product :) Read more

I use this once after I wash my hair at night and love the darker color of the powder. Doesn’t leave my hair white at all. Then I reapply as needed before bed. When I wake up, my hair doesn’t look oily at all! Read more
