These came with lots of loose and hanging strings that I had to cut off with scissors. The material is very thin and cheap. They are 100% cotton so they breathe, that's the only way I roll. They have side pockets, which I don't know about you, but I can't live without pockets. They have an elastic waistband and a drawstring so you can adjust the waist exactly to your liking. I've played for hours in these in the hot Florida sun and these are so lightweight and breathable it almost feels like you forgot to put them on.
