I have only been using this for about 3 days and I was super apprehensive about getting this product because of the hype. I am 35 weeks pregnat and I have some very angry and purple stretch marks and cocoa butter just hasn't worked. The second I put the gel on my belly it just absorbed into my skin and made it not so itchy or painful but it also changed the texture of my skin from almost a papery feel to more like my normal skin. I have sense started using everything morning and night. I haven't noticed a difference in the appearance in my stretch marks but I am so much more comfortable and not hating life quite so much because of not being itchy! I don't even care if this stuff reduces the appearance of my stretch marks but I am very happy that it feels like I have normal skin again! 10/10 would recommend to anyone who's pregnant and I would start using it sooner had i known how hydrating this is! I love Bio oil products, period. This set is awesome! The actual bio oil itself that's in the set is medium sized not small which I thought was super cool. The gel is amazing for really dry skin, all these products are but the gel is super nourishing. And I love the lotion too you can put it anywhere even your face! I love it. Read more

I started using Bio-Oil early in my pregnancy to help prevent stretch marks, and so far, I’m really impressed! I apply it once or twice a day to my belly, hips, and thighs, and it leaves my skin feeling super hydrated and smooth without being overly greasy. The scent is light and calming — nothing overpowering, which is a big plus when you're dealing with pregnancy sensitivity. It absorbs nicely and keeps my skin feeling soft and less itchy as it stretches. I’m now 6 months along, and I haven’t noticed any new stretch marks yet. I know genetics play a role, but I really think keeping my skin moisturized with Bio-Oil is helping. Have always wondered if bio-oil was worth the hype and so far it has been. I have really bad skin-picking as a stress response and i have pale skin so literally everything leaves little purple reminders of what was there, even if they aren’t severe scars. the bio-oil and the gel have been the most impactful and would be the only items i re-purchase. the lotion is pretty watery and doesn’t seem to have a huge effect. the gel made my dry/cracked elbows soften overnight. the oil itself has made scars fade, helped injuries heal w less scarring, and just evened my skin tone back out. my brother is a plumber and has tried everything to heal the palms of his hands that just have constant dried and broken skin, leaving gashes and they can’t heal. will be recommending this gel to him bc it was that effective.
