We are so happy we found this all natural soap from Laboratoires Druide. This is such a nice pure soap that lathers well and makes the skin feel clean and refreshed. This is especially nice to use in the dry days of Winter and minimizes drying out the skin. For those of us with sensitive skin, this works wonders. The scent is light and pleasant. This soap does not melt away quickly, especially if you keep it up out of water. While we do not have any babies in the house to use this with, we can understand how nice of a soap this would be to use on young tender skin. Pricing is more than fair for a higher quality "clean" soap. Read more
This soap appears to be some kind of biologically or organically made soap. For me, that’s not the most important factor—it’s more about the quality and how comfortable it is to use. It has an interesting shape: the bottom is flat, and the top has a concave section. According to the labeling, that section is designed to hold a leftover piece of an old soap bar—even if it’s a different kind—and help it bind to the new bar. I tried it, and it works, which is a great design. I don’t like throwing away the last bit of a good soap, so being able to attach it to the new one and keep using it is a nice feature. As the water evaporates, the pieces fuse together naturally in the shower. The fragrance is subtle but pleasant. The texture is comfortable, it lathers well, and it doesn’t leave my skin feeling dry. This soap deserves more than five stars! It's a very mild and pure soap that is hard milled and produces lots of suds. I use the soap as a shampoo and it leaves my hair shiny with no frizz. I noticed that my skin feels very smooth and silky after using the soap and, if properly stored with drainage, lasts a long time. I make sure that the soap gets completely dry after use. This soap would be absolutely excellent for anyone with sensitive skin or for children and babies. Very mild with a tiny amount of scent. I love this soap, and I think you will too! Read more
A nice mild soap for babies/tots with sensitive skin. The smell is light and earthy and smells similarly to oatmeal. the lather is good as well. I didn't find it to be stripping to my littles skin, but I moisturized after bathing anyway. I feel like it would aid those or at the very least soothe someone with drier skin. however, $15 for a single bar of soap is STEEP and while I do like the product, I can't justify that. not the best value to me. This soap is really nice. It’s clean and doesn’t leave chalky, dry feeling if that makes sense. I’m not a fan of a lot of ingredients, fragrances and moisturizers. Druide is made in Canada and they seem to care about what we put in our bodies, let alone kids. This great all around soap. Read more
I recently gifted the Baby Bar Soap with Chamomile & Calendula to my younger toddler cousin, and the feedback from their parents has been absolutely glowing. The Druide Baby Protective Soap with Chamomile & Calendula is a pleasant choice for parents seeking a gentle, natural cleanser for their little ones. Our little one has really sensitive skin and if something does not go well with his skin, we will see an immediately rash at the spot. We have been giving him a bath in this soap for the last 3 days, it is not just smell great, the chamomile & calendula seems like a great combination to immerse your little one in an all natural bathing experience, as if you are bringing the flower garden inside. This Baby Bar Soap – Chamomile & Calendula, Gentle Natural Wash is a very nice and gentle soap. All the ingredients are good, the scent is mild, it lathers really well and cleans very well but also very gently which I like. It isn't over drying, it leaves the skin feeling clean and soft.
