Whoa! Excellent product. I've used many brands and versions. This one is very effective on my mostly thinning and partially balding head. The light fragrance, lather-richness with a little dab, and the ease of use, make this my staple shampoo. While I'm resolved that my bald spot is there for good, I've kept my head healthy and staved off an early loss in my 20s. With the main ingredient biotin, vitamin b7, it is able to help hair loss for those with a deficiency. I bought this to test and found that it does make existing hair "look" fuller. If you have genetics that cause hair loss, stress, hormonal issues or any other hair loss cause other than a b7 deficiency it's not going to work. It's not entirely snake oil but is deceiving in the fact that it doesn't explicitly state this. It's not a miracle cure, it can't reverse bald spots. It was worth the experiment but backed by science this product will only fix a certain group of deficient people with either underlying medical resasons or exposure to other means that cause the deficiency. I appreciate the email they sent with the product to check into if the product came intact. Seeing others reviews it was an issue which is likely the reason for the follow up. Out of 5 it gets a star off for deceptive and dismissive product claims without specification. I remove another star for product size to value. B7 is better suited through ingestion and food choices. Topical applications such as this don't have the capability for results. The ones it worked for likely have the issues stated above. Read more
