Birkenstock Unisex Arizona Essentials EVA Black Sandals - 38 N

I have owned several pairs of the classic Arizona and when I saw these I knew I wanted to give them a try. If you have had classic birks you understand how awful it is when they get wet. I’m working seasonally in Alaska this summer and needed something that is okay with the moisture up here. I’ve had these for about a month now and I love them. The EVA foam is actually softer and more comfortable than the cork in my opinion and they are perfect when wet. They weigh nothing. So lightweight and easy. Since going vegan, I’ve had to gradually replace various shoes as they wear out. For years, I’ve worn leather Birkenstock Arizona sandals, but the one’s I had were finally worn beyond repair and needed to be replaced. These sandals weren’t my first choice, as Birkenstock makes a nicer vegan option with the cork footbed, but that item is hard to come by during this pandemic, so I bought these. I have to say, I am very pleasantly surprised. I do have narrow feet but had not purchased any of my previous Birks in the narrow size and they seemed just fine. These feel amazing and fit perfectly! I don’t notice any harshness to them as I would have expected with the EVA materials. They are actually quite soft and perfectly comfortable. A big bonus is that I don’t have to worry about them getting wet in the early morning dewy grass when I go outside to the garden. I would definitely recommend these to others, to vegans or to anyone who is familiar with the fit of Birks and wants something waterproof. Read more

Okay! I’m serious this is exactly what I was looking for!!! I wanted a house shoe that wasn’t a slipper, lightweight, waterproof to clean my boat, water flowers ect... in the winter I wear slippers but by the time spring comes my feet are sweating! I sized a whole size down from my usual I am a 8.5 I got the 7.5 narrow, I am usually somewhere between 8 or 8.5 in shoes, my feet are so narrow and the last notch on each works perfect for me love that it is adjustable for people like me with a very narrow foot! As a person with years of foot issues, and three surgeries I am always looking for shoes that are comfortable but still cute, stylish. Birkenstock’s are my favorite in the summer. I originally bought these for when I am poking around in my garden so they can be easily washed off. Little did I know they would become my favorite sandals and my go to everytime I leave the house. I highly recommend these to anyone with foot pain especially or just anyone who wants to feel like they aren’t wearing shoes but have support under their feet. I really like these sandals. They fit well - they are comfortable & affordable. The only problem I've had with these sandals is the top strap which keeps popping off. And of course it didn't do this till it was too late to return or exchange them. I hadn't even worn them very much so I was surprised and a bit disappointed. I love Birkenstock shoes. It fits my needs in that they are very sturdy, the last a long time, and the prices are good especially when you use last chance which I always do. I have narrow feet, but I thought I’d give it a try. I figured might be better than crocs but similar. The adjustable straps help so that they fit as well as any other sandals I wear. I do have it in the tightest setting. I notice it fits better with the strap closest to the toe, and a bit looser on the upper part, but stays on well. This is only an issue of you have narrow feet though. Overall, while I am still getting used to the look of these I like them. They stay on and are reasonably comfy for walking around. Read more
