Fantastic sandal. I would definitely reccomend looking up how to break in your Birkenstock, but if you do that well, these will be wonderful, comfortable shoes. Well made. I can't wait to see how many years these last. I bought them for my pregnant feet and they've not been too tight or uncomfortable! Love the sandals but the toe area is tight. Even after a week. So I took some thin moleskin and cut strips and faced the leather toe strips with moleskin. Problem solved. I have just ordered another pair in black and will do the same moleskin application on them. The moleskin is made by Dr. Scholes and you can get it on line and maybe big pharmacies. Read more

Good shoe. Good fit though a little irritating to instep - but I have a high instep and must wear a wide shoe for this. Leather is a bit rough though I will pad inner part of cross ankle strap till softens with wear. Also I really wanted the mocha which is a lighter coffee colored brown. It appears Amazon merged the distinction of both these browns. They are different shades of brown and I believe have a different texture in feel from seeing others with this very shoe.
