Birkenstock Womens Mayari Sandal Mocha EU Size 40 Womens US Size 9-9 5

I have been wearing this style for years and have two pairs that are finally wearing out (I don't care to have them "rebuilt" so they will become my yard work shoes) and recently purchased this Mayari Sandal in the Mocha, and a second pair in Graceful Licorice (a bit dressier). I live where I can wear sandals year round (mostly). I have a wide foot at the toes and the fit is perfect for me. They keep my footing stable so I don't roll my foot and sprain my ankles, and they have a good arch support which keeps my back from aching. They may be a bit pricey, but the trade off is that they last for YEARS if you take good care of them... and because of that I find them to be a good value for the money. And yes I do have other pairs of Birkenstocks in different styles. I wear them because they are comfortable, they look nice, and most of all, they fit the shape of my feet. Read more

What can I say Birkenstock is quality. I love these sandals. My last pair lasted for six years, and I only had to replace it because the soul was so worn down. It was wearing down the cork. Really comfortable and accommodates wide sizes. I have really wide feet and these shoes fit perfectly. These are the only sandals I can wear all day during the summer without foot pain. Read more

Birkenstock shoes are a solid brand. You know what you are getting when you purchase this brand. The shoes never fail. They are comfortable and I can wear them all day walking around and standing on my feet. When I know I am going to be on my feet all day and I want to wear sandals, my Birkes are the way to go. This is not my first pair and will not be my last. The shoes have good arch support, which is hard to find in a sandal. They are well worth the money. ***UPDATE*** I’ve been wearing these regularly for almost three months now, and while it took a couple days of regular wear to break them in, they really are my new favorite sandal. I love them even more than my Rainbows, which I didn’t think would be possible. I’ve walked miles in these and they still look brand new. They are crazy comfortable! —- August 17, 2020 **************** I accidentally walked into a deceptively wet and deep area of mud in my veggie garden last week while wearing my 25 year old (yes, you read that correctly) Arizona sandals. While pulling myself and then them out of the mud part of the front straps pulled out from between the cork and sole. I rinsed them off and wasn’t sure if I could repair them. My husband said that as old as they are, I should just get a new pair, as a quarter of a century is a good life for a sandal. Sadly, I admitted he was probably right. I ordered these in Mocha because they are really cute and will look great with everything this summer. They arrived today (a few days before expected) and they are great! While I don’t expect to get 25 years out of these, simply because they have a toe strap, I do look forward to breaking them in, because once I do? They are going to be my new favorite sandal and I hope to wear them for many summers to come. I’ll probably order another pair of Arizonas come fall because I wear them all winter long with socks. I love these shoes though I have slightly long toes which these do not accommodate as well as short toes. I wear a nine in this like running shoes or vans but an 8 1/2 in high heels and flats. I got a 40 and they seem maybe a little big but tightening of the strap is good. Do not wear these for long periods of time until they have been well broken in! My toes can ache a bit after long use. I have waited many months setting aside money here and there to order real Birkenstock’s. I was so excited to find the color, size and style I wanted in prime. I ordered excitedly. That night I was reading reviews and got cold feet and almost canceled my order. Y’all these shoes are the real deal! They came in the real blue shoe box and they fit my feet perfectly. These are not knockoffs! It will take a few weeks to break them in, but I am so excited for these new shoes. I have wide feet and I also am needing more support as I have begun betting Charlie horses at night from standing all day in yellow box flip flops. These are very nice!
