I love these sandals. Don't be intimidated by the European sizing. I used the formula provided and they fit amazingly well. So comfortable for my feet, and very beneficial to my arthritic ankles. I went to an orthopedic podiatrist who made custom orthodocs for the shoes I wear at work. He saw these sandals and told me to keep wearing the Birkis whenever I could. I bought my first pair over three years ago and still wear them everyday around the house, they're better than slippers. I just purchased a second pair because I had worn the others in the rain several times, and the glue was coming loose on the toe strap. Of course I could have them repaired at no cost, but decided to just eliminate the toe strap and still wear them. It's actually quite a sexy look! Read more

Other reviews had me worried that these sandals would be a disappointing knock off. They seem completely legit to me. They have the Birkenstock brand name imprinted on the side. The buckles say 'Birk" and "Birken" like they should. The soles are the right pattern and say "Birk". The footbed has all of the right markings as well: size, footprint, Birkenstock with Made in Germany beneath, however they are missing the leather symbol because these are not leather. They arrived in a Birkenstock box that looked real to me and it was in good condition. They fit great and I already love them. I live in AZ and wear sandals all year. I hope they last a long time. I adore these shoes! They do take some breaking in so don't freak out if your feet are a little sore. These shoes are amazing though after they form to your feet! They are stylish and go with everything. I'm a little OCD though and the tiniest marks drive me crazy: especially the toe marks where your feet have been. I bought cork renewal for the outside and I heard you can clean the footbeds with baking soda and water. Overall I recommend these shoes! Read more

Due to foot issues and multiple surgeries, wearing high arch support are the only foot ware for me. Either Abeo or Birkenstock sandals fit the bill. This is the first time I’ve ever bought these sandals online as I like to try on first to ensure support but do to Cv-19 and local stores either closed or out of stock I resorted to purchase on Amazon. I enjoyed the fact that there is like zero break in time with the Birki-Flor. But I do not find the same kind of support or comfort in the long run as the real leather ones. I'm sorry, I'm just being honest. This is my first pair of these, so maybe it's just these particular ones, but every style of Birkenstock that I have ever owned have been genuine leather or suede and have all been equally comfortable. I have tried Betulas and Birkis and both of those brands were both too narrow and not arch supportive like the real Birkenstock. These are real Birkenstock but the Birki-Flor. It feels different underneath the feet to me. I really wanted to love these, they are SUPER cute, I love the style! Not your regular hippie, granola uni-sex style, these are very feminine and cutsie. They are NOT uncomfortable. Not at all. I'm just saying that for someone with a bad back, foot problems and a VERY high arch, they aren't every day to go to sandals. (I live in South FL!) So if you need normal arch support, and still have a little bit wider than average foot and love Birkenstock? Order these!!!!! They are super adorable and comfy! Read more
