I very rarely write reviews, but this belt was just what I was looking for. Yes, the sizing is weird. I'm a 34 waist and the Small is perfect. I measured the length of my other belts and checked it against the listed length of the Bison. And Small was a few inches larger than others of mine. Once you've figured out the right size, you're good to go. This belt is very well constructed, rugged enough for work and fine for everyday wear. It doesn't seem to get loose and the velcro is a nice feature. It works to carry tools, pistol holster. Well worth the money. IMO, a go-to belt. Read more

I personally own 3 of these in 3 different colors. I've bought 3 as gifts for 3 different people. Sturdy, strong and good looking. No worries about finding the right notch/hole in your belt. This can be adjusted to fit at any length. I like the idea of having handy when camping and hiking in the event that I might need to use it for some other purpose. It would easily support at least 200 or more pounds and could be used for a number of things in a pinch. tourniquet, sling, short repelling device, and countless other things. Read more

I would rate this belt at 5 stars, but part of the stiching came undone on the Velcro. It's not much of an issue as I simply restitched it, but if someone lacked sewing skills, it would have eventually rendered Velcro portion of the the belt useless once the stitches completely came out. Other than the one stiching flaw mentioned above, this is a very sturdy belt that works very well for my daily CCW and has held up very well over the past couple months. I have noticed no sag at all in the belt even with thinner, less sturdy pants and shorts. I would highly recommend this belt to anyone looking for an easily adjustable, sturdy belt. Read more

I've worn this belt for a few weeks to make sure that I give it a fair review. I work in construction and I move around a lot and get in some strange positions every day as part of my job. This belt has preformed well so far. It's easy to put on and take off and requires no adjustments at all throughout the day. As far as the Velcro goes, it's nice to keep the tail section secured but I don't think it's totally necyfor the function of the belt. I say that because of reviews about the stitching in it failing. First Impressions: Very good! I am a size 36-38 in most pants, and the size Medium fits me great with the velcro having about 2 inches to go (should I gain 10lbs) and a good 6 inches should I lose 20. My only initial gripe is that the Made in the USA tab is in the wrong/stupid place and will likely have to be cut off. No biggie. Kinda sad to see Bison/China stamped on the buckle. I guess "Made in the USA of USA and Imported Material" on the tag is accurate. Anywho. Cant go wrong for the money. Very nice. Read more
