The steamer itself works well. However, the steamer only lasts about 5 minutes before needing to be refilled, but you can not remove the cap to refill it while it is hot. You have to wait about 15 minutes for it to cool down enough to remove the cap and refill it with water. Then you have to wait for it to heat up again. What should have taken 10 minutes to clean ended up taking almost an hour with all the wait time. Very frustrating. Also the hose is not quite long enough or flexible enough, so if you use the hose the steamer body does not stay standing up straight. It kept falling over and eventually fell off the counter. Wish I had tried it right away so I could have returned it right away but now I missed the return window. Read more

I gave it 4 stars because the cap to the steam chamber is a bit tricky and can come loose . To correct the problem I had to press down on the steam release knob, held the knob down before the spinning cap would finally catch to twist off.
