This phone car holder has been amazing. My 2013 Elantra Tonka toy car doesn't have many viable options to hold a phone in place for to its compact nature and poor vent placement. Without affixing it to the dash it doesn't really have many good vantage spots. Enter this bad boi! I installed it easily right out of the box and it has held in place very well. To the point that I actually mistakenly put it in a higher position having a tall phone(Galaxy s21 ultra. I had to readjust to the height difference and let me tell you this sucker had suctioned itself to the windshield so well that it took some coersing. To be fair I believe it was installed in the cold months so I needed a bit of heat to remove it so once things were warmed up it's been amazing ever since. The spring loaded holder is very durable and the phone has never fallen from any turbulence etc. I will say I have a heavy duty wallet case that creates even more bulk to an already bulky phone, so I need to remove the case to use this holder. I suppose if I had to reduce rating it would be due to the fact it could use a little more thickness to accommodate phones with the case in tact. I would say all in all I'm happy, but having to remove the case each time is a small inconvenience, but an inconvenience nonetheless. If they created a version that can grab effortlessly with or without a case then I think they would have an unmatched product. The price is very reasonable too, especially when you think of it protecting your potentially 1000$+ phone. Adjustments are fairly painless and quite versatile, but in order to secure it you'll have to live with some limitations unfortunately. Read more

I have an 05 mercedes. Yea, no bluetooth or anything (But she runs fantastic). Mercedes is not known for their cup holders. I guess engines are what's really important. I'd agree. Anyway, I was using magnetic clip ons to hold my phone. The problem is, when you put them in the vent, you need to shut the vent off or your phone will overheat (Winter people). My phone would also dislocate from the magnet and hit the car floor. This product solves all my problems. It offers a few different installation options. I chose to connect it using the vent method. It snaps in easy and is sturdy. It's simple to maneuver from landscape to portrait, fits all phone sizes, sits nicely above and away from my vent. It's actually in a better position! The extension is quite long and doesn't interfere with heating. It securely holds my phone in place. I wish I found this sooner!
