works great, much better than the generic blender we had before. Also top part is non-breakable. The previous blender we had was with a glass top part, which broke. Read more
I went to visit a friend who owned this POS blender. It was working fine before I made margaritas. It is overly engineered and designed to be broken. You can use it with the handle facing forward to the right or left, but if you put the handle to the back on either side, it breaks a safety pin. I've used dozens of blenders. Ninja made it to intentionally break. I own multiple Ninja products and will never buy one again, based on this experience. Wtf. What a horrible oversight. There's quite a few YouTube videos about how to fix it. You can just wedge a toothpick in to override - but seriously they went out of their way to make the product fail for the average user.
