This is a nice solid weight waste basket. I got it for my home office. The gold detailing looks great. I know I need to put a bag in it - for my use - but I don't want to ruin the athstetic of it. Lol! I'm not sure exactly what it's made out of. Definitely not metal and I don't think plastic... But the textured finish and gold detailing really look great. This is a very nice quality waste paper basket, which is best suited for a well appointed office or other area where a leather and gold trimmed trashcan fits in to the schematics. Black color is intense and very attractive. The gold is just simple edging and a basic quality trim. This is a perfect size for an office and because it is rectangular it can sit easily in many configurations. I appreciate the small size, which makes it easy to put in a new liner and empty.
