Minimalistic Form & Function at a Decent Price
I wanted a single-hole faucet for my bathroom upgrade. After hours of researching dozens of models online I finally decided on this one. So far I love it! First of all, it FEELS sturdy. Clearly not made of cheap, second-rate materials. The base is heavy despite its deceptively streamlined design. The hot/cold lever is simple, intuitive and mixes the temperature pretty well. ( It does feature a small red line for hot and a small blue line for cold, in case someone couldn't instinctively guess which direction to turn the lever LOL!) It has sufficient torque that I can reduce the water flow to a very thin stream, yet still maintain the desired warm or cool mixture. (See photo.) Thus, I can save water while achieving a comfortable hands or face wash. Very nice!! I REALLY love the sleek, stylish yet simplistic design. No fancy bells and whistles, just minimalistic form AND function. BEST of all, no ginormous base adding unnecessary surface area to contend with. Part of my goal was to optimize and simplify cleaning and maintenance. My pet peeve with my old sink and three-hole chrome faucet was all the extra time and cleaning agent it took to wipe down those various little nooks, rounded corners and contours, which NEVER stayed shiny and clean, and which ALWAYS gathered unsightly crud where the faucet base met the white sink deck. Yuck! Not to mention that the SECOND I touched the hot or cold knobs after having just shined them up, they would quickly soil and turn dull again. THAT above ALL ELSE was why I chose this particular model. I wanted something simple, functional, stylish, sleek, and EASY TO CLEAN & MAINTAIN. (Also bought a matching color sink to go with it.)
