These Choiran boots are a winning high heel pair in comfort, sizing, and looks. The zipper is very smooth and easy to use, and the boots themselves are very easy to put on. The block heel is about 3.5 inches including the platform, and these have a really nice rounded square toe, leaving plenty of space for toes of all sizes. The leather material is a little on the flimsy side, but it doesn't slide down or sag at all, so it's not an issue or anything. When ordering these I sort of missed the wide calf part, but that's okay because they aren't very wide at the top which is preferable for someone like me who has skinnier legs. Also, when I ordered these the color selection available was more limited, but now there are far more colors available (leaving me kind of wishing I had waited, but I did get these when the price was good). Cute boots. HUGE. These definitely run big. My normal size is an 8, and so I purchased an 8 because everyone was saying it's true to size, but I am definitely a 7 in these. I do have thin feet, and I'm not sure if the width of my foot also plays a role in it, but the length is definitely not an 8. I've worn these boots to many events, including backyard parties, and the boots held up great! They are extremely durable and of high quilty. They are also easy to clean by just wiping them down. They are very comfortable for extended use. They fit true to size, as I am usually a seven, so that's what ordered and they fit great. But if you are worried, I would say go up a half size. Although these are called wide calfed, be careful because they are very snug on me and fit closer to a normal boot when I had my friends with slim calves try them on. Read more
