The house I moved into had no switch near the entry door for an indoor light. Using this two switches and one plug, I was able to hook up a table lamp that I could turn on as I enter the house and turn off as I leave the living room. Decent Product, Bad Instructions

The media could not be loaded. The instructions for pairing are not great. I ordered the bundle with one switch and two outlets. The instruction manual said that it was both prepaired and also not prepired, clearly an editing error . In reality, my unit was not paired at all out of the box. The instructions for pairing involved pressing a program button eight times and then two more times. In the diagrams, none of the buttons are labeled as a program button. Through sheer stubbornness I figured out that in order to program this you have to double-click the button on the outlet itself and then click the button on the receiver switch. There was an audible clicking noise coming from the outlet upon successful pairing. This is the same noise as when you manually turn the outlet on/off with a single click of the outlet button. The product itself appears to be decently made, and seems to work okay once it is successfully paired. The instructions did not do it any favors in this regard. Hopefully this review helps others who may have the same pairing struggle. Read more
