I don't have much space between my toilet and sink cabinet and, for years, have fought a round stainless steel trash can in that spot. It didn't fit, the lid always hit the toilet when you opened it, you had to tip it then pull it out to get it out of the spot to change the liner and empty it, etc. This might be a little TMI, but not only did it not fit well, it was corroding due to splash from the toilet. The bleach in the water from tank cleaning tablets and urine itself (yes, urine splashes as you know but don't want to admit) when you use the toilet rusted the can. It is corrosive. This plastic cleans very easily and will not corrode. The size and shape is perfect for what I need it for as well. It actually holds more trash than the round can did too, so I empty it less often. The oblong shape fits objects better like used toothbrushes, deodorant cans, etc. It was easy to put together, it is easier to load with those plastic bags from the grocery store for a liner (I know you use those too), and the lid works great. And the way it is designed, you don't see the bag liner sticking out of the can. I wish I had gotten rid of the old one a long time ago. I might order another one for the other bathroom. Read more
Perfect for a narrow space. I used this in our camper because it fits perfectly in the TINY bathroom, between the toilet and the wall. Love the design with the lift off cover because the trash bag is completely hidden and doesn’t stick out around the top rim like many trash cans. Simple and sleek design and the push/spring top works great. Only thing I’d recommend is to tell visitors how to open it because I had someone pry it open, not realizing all you need to do it push down on the top to make it pop open when they pried it open, they busted the little plastic “pin” off where the latch mechanism catches to keep it closed. I had to buy a whole new trash can because of that, but I did buy the same one. It does come with an extra latch, but that’s not what got broken. Read more

Got this to stop dogs from poking their nose into the bathroom trash. So far so good. The lid does pop up easily but we have not let them see us open them.. Decent and simple design. The bag inside is completely hidden and thus cannot be chewed and looks better. Small and skinny and fits well around the toilet and sink. Read more
