BlackButterfly Satin Bolero Shrug - Half Sleeve

This is awesome! I went to a summer wedding and needed a fancy shrug for my dress. I bought the gold shrug and wore with an orange sheath dress with gold chain embellishment at the bodice and gold heels. I planned to dance all night and I wanted my dress to show, but not my arms and armpits. This was the e-ticket. It covered me and not too much of my dress. Sleeves were 3/4 so i could wear bracelets and it did not ride up in the back. I carry more of my weight in my upper arms and I'm a DD but fit was perfect- not too tight and not too loose. I comfortably danced all night and fabric did not stain in the armpits nor was it obviously wet looking. It has held up to multiple washings. It comes out wrinkle free. Fit better than thought!! I ordered this in a size 18(I wear size 16-18) and was nervous because is not a stretchy fabric. When I got it I pit on my dress to check how It would fit and coloring. It fit so perfectly! I am very pleased. Yes, its a little tight, but thats what I wanted, something that wasn't loose and looked like a separate peice from my dress. The ivory is a darker ivory, so if your dress is light ivory like mine, than maybe try lightening it, but I love how it looks, gives a little more class to my dress. Read more

The first major problem is that the product has two totally different sizing charts, so I had to order this twice in an attempt to get the correct size. (Use the one in the pictures btw, not the description on the page itself!) Once I had the right size, the jacket itself fit very awkwardly. Tight in some places, loose in others. I couldn’t hardly cross my arms it was so tight up there. And the material barely covered 25% of my breasts, and that’s being generous. The length fell right under my breasts FYI. I bought this to wear over a sleeveless formal dress that I was wearing to a winter evening wedding. I wear a size 18 dress and I purchased a size XL. It fit very well. Not snug, not loose. It was just what I need keep my shoulders and arms covered but not hide my dress. Almost a satin like finish but not a tacky shiny finish. Very classy look and add coverage. Read more
