This was my first premium backpack, and so far it's worth every penny! I bought it to use for airline travel but since I haven't taken a trip with it yet, I did a "practice run" by using it as a commuter bag for a few days and packing it similarly to how I would for a plane trip. PROS: feels well-made and high quality; looks sleek and professional. - Waterproof, not just water resistant. It kept everything dry despite being snowed on at the bus stop. - The tech pocket liner being orange makes my cables and adapters easier to find. - Plenty of pockets; I haven't even used them all yet! - The vacuum seal held up well - I only used it for about 24 hours, but it didn't leak. - The shoe compartment extends up to the top of the bag (underneath the waterproof toiletries pocket), so with some wrangling even larger sized shoes might fit. - The padding on the straps and hip belt distributed the weight so well the bag never felt too heavy to me, even on the long walk to/from the bus stop. - The back felt more breathable than the other two backpacks I've tried, thanks to the honeycomb webbing under the back padding and the airflow column down the middle. - The 3 sections (Front Top fleece-lined pocket, main clamshell section with vacuum-compression, shoe, and toiletry compartments, and Tech Pocket) made it easy for me to organize my gear. CONS: - Pack the tech pocket BEFORE using the vacuum compression section or the space is too tight to slide things into easily. - It is easy to overpack, and the weight distribution system allows you to get away with it so if you're trying to bring LESS, this bag may not help! The Vortex Vacuum Seal Travel Backpack is way better than I expected. The vacuum seal feature actually works and let me pack enough clothes for my week-long trip it literally replaced the need to buy a carry-on suitcase. The media could not be loaded. These Vortex seal backpacks are the real deal for sure! I didn't believe it at first, but once I got this backpack in and loaded it up, I was surprised to find that I can fit an entire week's work of clothing in the backpack and still have room to load up my laptop and chargers! It is incredibly versatile in that if you need to completely fill it up, you have an expansion zipper and straps on each side to compress even further to where it looks like a regular backpack, it comes with charging ports and a TSA-compliant combination lock if you're the kind to lock your zippers, and the black fabric feels pretty high-quality, particularly the zipper areas feel like they will last a while. We are going on a cruise next month and I am definitely looking forward to being able to skip using a luggage bag by using this backpack! Bought it for travel use, and it fits all my needs and gear. The vacuum sealing works and efficiently increases more storage space. Been loving it and is durable and well built, with zippers that aren’t flimsy and could rip off if pulled too hard. This is not an issue but something to be aware of. For charging the pump you would need a usb-b type brick to charge it. Most stuff these days are generally usb-c so keep that in mind. Read more

This is a great bag, makes traveling for someone who doesn’t like to carry a lot a breeze. Fits perfectly under airplane seats. I’ve used it twice now and the vacuum seal holds really well, the only reason for my 4 star review is I feel like the video is misleading a bit but it’s still way better than traveling with a normal backpack. I’m excited to see how it is on a weekend motorcycle trip. I don’t have it nearly packed full but for my 4-5 day trips it’s perfect, very happy with this purchase and the electronics storage is amazing along with the waterproof pouches. Build quality also seems to be solid so far with great zippers which is honestly unrated when it comes to travel bags. Read more
