I really wanted to love these pants but was a bit worried they wouldn't work out. For me there were several things working against them that ultimately led me to return them 1. They make you look much thicker. I think it's a combination of the lining and outer layer, but they do add some thickness which was not the look I wanted going into the new year 2. One the black pants, the white lining shows significantly at the top of the waist (which I would have covered with a belt), but also at the bottom of each leg (which I had no option to cover so this is the primary reason for returning them). 3. They're short... I'm 5'8" with a high waist. I was so excited that these actually did hit my waist (which is uncommon) but disappointed when I looked down and noticed how short the legs were on me... which means when I put shoes on they would be even shorter.... Stretchy material. I'm 5.4", 132lbs and ordered a small. I wore a 3" heel and it looked great. My only comment for improvement for the maker is that the inside white lining was too long and you could see it hanging past the black pant legs. I was able to hem the white lining.
