The title description says linen. Just so you don’t miss it, the product details let you know it’s 92% Viscose and 8% Linen. Just don’t want you disappointed when you realize you didn’t get an all linen vest. That said, I knew what I was going to receive and was actually surprised that I like it. It is decent quality, fits well, has nice details down the front, good coloration and washed up well (hang dry). I like that it can be styled casually or dressed up for more professional settings. I do like that it has a sort of timeless style to it, which helps your garment feel worth having in your closet longer. The stitching feels like it is going to hold up long term. It also wasn’t crazy wrinkly after I hung it up to dry, which was nice cause, who wants to iron!? When I received this item it was at a $25 price point. I do think you can get a much more natural vest, and even with higher linen count, than this one in that price range. But, if natural fabrics isn’t your main concern and you want a linen look vest that styles well and turnt wrinkle terribly, this is a good option. I’m happy with it and think it is valued fairly. This 92% viscose/8% linen vest is nice, but you really, really need to check both the product measurements and your body measurements in the size chart because it is slim fit and runs small/tight. I grabbed my typical size Large without checking and the vest is so tight, especially in my 38C bust region, that the buttons were badly straining, I cannot wear it, and will have to donate it. Which is a shame because it is a really pretty vest (the crochet lace lines are great details!) and the warm brown color was perfect. It was also nicely breathable for the short time I squeezed myself into it. I would have loved to pair this vest with wide-leg dress slacks for lunch at the local country club. For reference, I’m 5'6", 137 lbs, 36C, and I usually wear a small in tops, so I ordered this in a small, and it fits perfectly. It’s a really lovely lightweight linen vest that you can style so many different ways. I ordered the khaki color, and it’s a warm, beigey neutral that goes with pretty much anything. What I like most is how versatile it will be across seasons. In the fall/winter, it looks great layered over a long sleeve (like in my photo), either buttoned or unbuttoned depending on the look you’re going for. In the spring and summer, you can wear it on its own, and the breathable linen will keep you cool without feeling clingy. This is a cute lightweight, button-down vest top for spring and summer that would work just as well as a vacation piece as it would for business. It has enough coverage to be used as a standalone shirt. It could also be worn over something else. The vest is a straight cut, meaning it is not very fitted at the waist, so there is room to move around and bend without this being uncomfortable. I ordered this in the khaki color and the shade matches that of the listing. I ordered a size medium, and the fit is true to size and as expected. It's important to note that the linen content is minimal and it will not be as breathable as a pure linen top; the vest is comprised of 92% viscose and 8% linen. I really like the look of this vest. It has a clean, polished style that works for both casual outfits and office wear. This vest is super cute...stylish and flattering...and fits true to size. The fabric is lightweight and silky with darling detail. The seams and buttons appear to be of quality material and construction. My disappointment is that the vest is listed in the title as a LINEN VEST and I expected it to be linen. I discovered it is only 8% linen and is 92% viscose. I The description, upon closer inspection of the listing, does indicate this material content and was my oversight, but I feel the title is a bit deceiving. I was expecting a natural fiber product rather than the synthetic item I received. Either way, both linen and viscose are prone to shrinkage and so as preventative measure I wash this vest on cold and air dry it. More comfy than expected! 1. Fit - I normally wear a size 8 or medium. I obtained a medium size of this vest. It fit perfect! 2. Style - I was pleasantly surprised on the look. I thought it may not look right at first due to the material. I usually think of vests as a slick layer in between a suit, but this is linen. Which I was worried at first not looking right, but after it was put on, I thought it looked so great and so comfortable. Again pleasantly surprised on a linen vest! 3. This was a great find! It’s super flattering and a nice thick linen. Color is true to pic and it has nice detailing on the front. I love it and plan to wear it with jeans. Also fyi it runs small. If between sizes, size up. Update: accidentally washed it with regular clothes and it did fade a bit which is a bummer but I don’t wash it on delicate. Also shrunk a bit in the dryer (as linen does). If you’re large chested you could probably size up twice if you plan to wash and dry it like normal. Read more
