I recently purchased this blender after my old one finally gave out, and I’m so glad I did. For the price, this is an absolute winner! Affordable & Great Quality – I was pleasantly surprised by how affordable it is compared to other high-performance blenders on the market. Despite the reasonable price, the build quality feels solid and durable. It doesn’t feel cheap at all, and after several weeks of daily use, it still runs smoothly and quietly. Easy to Use – The controls are straightforward and intuitive. With just a few simple buttons, I can make smoothies, soups, nut butters, and even crush ice without any hassle. Cleanup is also a breeze—the jar and blades detach easily and are dishwasher safe. Powerful Performance – It handles everything I’ve thrown at it perfectly. Frozen fruits, leafy greens, nuts… everything comes out silky smooth. The motor is strong but not overly loud, and it never struggles or overheats. This H-Duka brand blender is very powerful, with large stainless steel blades that rotate at 25,000 revolutions per minute to make quick work of whatever you want blended or pulsed. The 60 ounce BPA-free mixing cup is large enough for making smoothies, soups, salsa for the entire family. The first thing I made in this was a roasted tomatillo salsa, whose ingredients used to bind up in my older blender. No problems like that here, because the cutting blades are much larger than those of similar size blenders. This means that crushing ice will occur in one blending, blending or pulsing soups and salsas are a breeze. The blender is very stylish looking, and shows off well in my kitchen with my other stainless steel appliances. It is very solidly built, and the base comes in at 4 pounds and 1400 watts, with a heavy duty 110 electrical cord that is long enough to reach an outlet from any place on your island or counter. At a height of 17.5 inches, it fits neatly under the stand 18-20 height of overhead cabinets. This blender also has built-in overheating and auto-overload protection, so I expect this to last many years of continual usage. The 6-edge 3D blades really do keep items from binding, which is great when I add in a whole bunch of cilantro or ginger. One thing I also love about this blender is it is old school technology, nothing digital or LED here. The toggle switch operation and dialed-in power speed control knobs give me exactly the ability to add or reduce power as I go along., and I believe this technology will far outlast digital appliances. The included manual is well written in English, and provides excellent operating and troubleshooting information. Cleaning the blender is as simple as wiping off the outside with a damp towel, and the BPA-free mixing cup can be washed with warm water, a few drops of dishwashing detergent and a quick 5 or 10 second pulse, followed by a rinse-out. Blends great, crushes ice easily, makes perfect fruit smoothies. Minor detail, but it totally has that smell of burning electronics. I am told this is from overworking it, though I never have it active for more than a few seconds at a time. Regardless, it really does work well... it self-cleans, doesn't leak, can take anything I throw at it, and it was not particularly expensive. I've made some of the best smoothies of my life with this thing, and I've only been using it for a week so far. One thing to note though, make sure to throw some liquid (or watery fruits) in while crushing ice cubes, otherwise the ice cubes will just sit on top and bounce around without getting crushed. That said, if the smell of burning electronics escalates into a much bigger issue, you can bet I will update this review. Great blender for my smoothies!! I make some pretty hardcore smoothies and i like them smoooooooth since I use avocado over banana (it makes them creamy like ice cream shake, yum!), and this does the job perfectly! I was worried it would struggle even with making sure to pack everything for an easier blend (soft stuff on bottom and harder on top), but it's holding up well so far! The blade seems sharp as usually carrots blend kinda gritty in other blenders I've had, but it's just very small bits here that get unnoticed in the overall very creamy blend! Weight of the base feel secure to keep in place, and the container is lightweight and easy to wash. Appreciate the straight forward design, and looking forward to all my yummy smoothies to come from this guy! I got it during a sale, so definitely worth it! Read more
