This blender does it all and does it without requiring you to use an idiotic push-stick to get the blender to do its job like, Vita-somebody. The blender is admittedly a bit noisy, but I'll make that trade for the powerful blending capability any day! The small twist jar works wonderfully for blending thick mixes like hummus or nut butters. I also use it for blending our delicious homemade salad dressings. Smoothes are a breeze to make. Soups too. This blender can do it all. Read more

I know it is a bit expensive but I've been through 3 other brands in 10 years. I think this will last me the rest of my life. Powerful. It is a bit loud when blending nut butter, but yest it blends nuts quickly. Happy Blending. Stay Awesome. Read more

Love it for the versatility and ease of use. The design of this is sleek and easy to clean. The kit it came with has the right size to fit under the counter. Everything was easy to clean and maintain. The only downside I see is that it doesn’t blend one last bit. I seem to get one tiny ball of fruit from smoothies that it misses to blend. But minor gripe. Love the ease and speed with which this blends stuff. It does a pretty neat job of grinding Indian chutneys and the like as well which other blenders and mixer grinders often have trouble with. Purchased it relatively recently but no complaints whatsoever so far. This is my favorite from over a dozen different brands that I have purchased over the years. Read more

Easy clean up, high powered, easy to use digital buttons with smooth panel so juice does not get caught in between buttons like the older models. I can juice apples, carrots and celery and get a smooth and creamy texture. Works for ice cream and soups or sauces. Read more

What I like most is that it automatically shuts off once the ice in my drink is completely crushed. It liquifies my vegetables.... in no time, and completely - no lumps. NO SHARP BLADES. Read more

My Blendtec Designer 650 with WildSide+ jar is impressive, but how does it compare to my Vitamix E310 for making frozen fruit smoothies? Both of these high end blenders were purchased from Amazon & both were the same price as new. Aside from the Vitamix E310 container size being smaller, these two blenders are very comparable. I use them with the same amount of ingredients, and without a tamper. Blendtec Designer 650: -Smaller blender with an electronic control pad -WildSide+ is a better container in every way -Preprogrammed cycles are not terribly accurate -Electronic touch slider for manual speeds works fine -Smoothies have icier texture & some seeds leftover -30% faster than the Vitamix to make a smoothie -I have not experienced cavitation -Can hop & jerk while blending -Less user involved -Container pours clean with little to no dribble -8 year warranty, 2 HP / 3 HP peak motor *** After only a couple days of use, my new Blendtec constantly trips the electrical circuit after first starting to blend. This has me concerned there is an electrical short or some defect with this Blendtec blender. I will be returning my new Blendtec blender due to safety concerns. Vitamix E310: -Bigger, more commercial analog machine with a larger drive socket -Variable speed dial is simple & works better -More secure container attachment & more stable while blending -Cavitation(air pockets) is the biggest issue with the Vitamix -More user involved -Container pours messy with dribble -Smoothies are buttery smooth with no texture or seeds remaining -Yields a far better smoothie if you can be more involved -5 year warranty, 2 HP motor Read more
