Was skeptical on arrival and opening as it appeared smaller than description said, but after letting it expand overnight it was perfect to size. Washed the cover before use and it fits perfectly as well. Easy to open and lay out, easy to fold up if you want to remove it. Mat is comfortable and perfect amount of cushion for my 5 month old to roll around on, and when he starts to sit up it feels as though it will safely protect his noggin when he inevitably tips over once or twice (every 15 minutes). This mat is awesome. Perfect for my 5 month old who is constantly rolling. It is just soft and thick enough so that I am not worried about her falling over while practicing sitting on her own, and firm enough for practicing crawling. This is totally worth every penny spent! I order it for the playpen we have for my 2 month soon 3 months old baby to practice tummy time but came in with no cushion. Our playpen says measures 50×50 but mat did not fit it was too big. However even if it fit too big in our playpen we kept it because it is really good quality. I like how the cover is removable and I can wash it and I can put on and take off easily with no issue. It is thick enough for my baby not to feel no harden floor nor feel any bumps during tummy time. This is a good mat to use under the tummy time mat or just the jungle gym for floor time. When using the tummy time mat is not thick enough to for him not to feel bump when he let head down on the mat . This mat feel super safe for my babys head especially that I have tile floors. I honestly wish I should of bought this instead of the tummy time mat they are so expensive and this is just so better you get use long term.
