After my first ski trip at 19, I returned with dry, cracked, “almost-bleeding” lips. My local pharmacist recommended Blistex, and my lips felt relief immediately and healed quickly. I’ve been using it ever since whenever my lips feel dry. Sometimes I put a “dot” of it over my lipstick. I carry one in my purse, and one in a small first aid box in my glove compartment when I drive out of town. I prefer this version of the product because it has a built-in applicator, where other versions require you use your finger or something to spread it evenly on your lips.
