These are seriously the best dance socks. It does take a class or two to "break in" because they are pretty grippy at first. But they have the perfect amount of traction to feel safe with leaps yet there is a lot of space under the toes and ball of your foot for turns. The socks themselves have bit of compression and feel supportive. I also really like the little bit of extra cushion at the toes and heel. They honestly work and feel just like a dance shoe. They do not last a super long time depending on how much you are dancing in them as the traction does start to wear down, but you should be able to get a good year out of them. The socks themselves hold up really well. But even if these only lasted a month and I would still continue to re-purchase! Highly recommend for any dancer at any level. I like these so much better than the other brands out there. Read more

I use these for ballet and want to buy 10 more for daily use! Basically, the quality, comfort, and value for money are top-notch. It is NOT slippery, but does allow for turns. For reference, I am a shoe size women’s 7.5 and I bought a medium, and it’s a perfect fit. Read more

My daughter is obsessed with these block, dance socks. She is constantly dancing on carpeted floors at dance conventions, and these help protect her feet. They seem to last a really long time. They have great arch support, but also flexible and soft. For the amount of hours, she wears them, the value is excellent. I recommend these over all other Dance socks on the market. And I love the black color. Read more

I'm a dance teacher. I teach 14 classes a week and have been doing so for over 20 years. My feet and ankles definitely needed extra support after all these years. I have been using the Apolla Shocks since 2020. They are almost $40 a pair. I wanted to see if this would be a more economical option. Unfortunately, these can twist during turns and do not have the same compression in the arch and ankles as the other. If you are using them for less time than I am and not turning as much, I do think they're a good affordable option. I do like the "traction" spots and cushioning on these better. My shocks pick up every hair and fuzzy in the studio in the "traction" added on the ball of the foot. It gets gross by the end of the day! As a whole, this is a good option depending on what you need. Read more
