This swim skirt is exactly what I’ve been searching for. The fabric is high quality and, most importantly, it is truly high waisted enough to deliver that ever-elusive tummy control—and it actually works. The mesh ruched skirt design is fun and a little sexy, partly because of what it does for your figure. It tapers from the hips, and between that and being high-waisted, the piece accentuates both the waist and hips from top to bottom, giving a much more hourglass appearance. Needless to say, it’s extremely flattering and very confidence-boosting. For reference I ordered an XL. I’m about a size 14/16 with measurements around 42-35-42 and the fit is fantastic. The fabric feels durable and comfortable, like it will hold up over time. It’s stretchy enough to give you some wiggle room without sacrificing the tummy control which is a hard balance to strike—but this skirt nails it. I don’t know why I thought it was just a skirt you know something that you could wrap around you or put on and then use the drawstring to make it a little sexier, but it totally has a bikini bottom under there. Pros The pattern is really nice very flirty and sexy. If it’s very well is that too tight? It’s quite loose and there’s panties under there. Maybe I misread the description, but I was expecting just the cover-up, but it includes a bikini bottom so you can mix a match with this set match it with some of your other bikinis or just keep it close by as an alternate. You can go for modest to Hoochie mama. lol Cons I think it’d be cool if it was detachable because I can imagine wanting to wear this as a cover-up with a different bikini and possibly wearing two bikini bottoms. I listened to the listing and ordered a XL, but wish I had ordered a L. The skirt itself is made from a mesh see-through material and the bikini bottom is made from thick swimsuit material. The ruching on the side is a nice addition. You can make it as short or long as you like. If I had ordered the right size I feel like it would have done a good job to help with tummy control. I currently wear size 12 bottoms, and I ordered the XL size according to the measurements on the size chart. These fit well and are very comfortable. They fully cover my belly, hips, and butt. They don't slide up at the back, and they are comfortable to move around in. I love the coverage that the mesh overskirt provides. This swim bottom looks much more expensive than its current price of $17.99. Even though I just got these, I can already tell that they are going to be one of my favorite pairs of bottoms, and I'm happy to see that they have some design and color options. So I ordered this swim skirt in a small but it arrived as a medium. My order shows medium by I definitely ordered it in small since I have no reason to order a medium.
